With a caveat that this is not directly Scancell related, it’s an interesting article from yesterday’s Guardian. It made me wonder if it goes ahead and hits big pharma bottom lines, will they perhaps step up M&A efforts to replace lost profits.

An alternative view of course would be that anyone investing in an AIM biotech share, should do so with their eyes wide open. Or if their eyes are not wide open to the possibility of waiting years for a return or worse, potentially losing all of their investment, they should not be putting their hard earned into such a high risk equity. There are countless examples of failure as evidence to support that viewpoint. Accepting your investment choices is something some folk can’t accept and will want to poke the blame for their poor decision making elsewhere. Imo of course.

I still don’t understand the number of SCOPE trial sites now. Pre CVLP announcement, I thought there were 15 (as listed on clinicaltrials.gov & Cancer Research websites).

CVLP have been screening for other cancers at around 50 locations, so how many of those, are now screening SCOPE candidates?

Anyone know?

In the last 6 months or so there have been an increase in posts here where they are no more than a copy & paste of AI responses to online questions. It’s as though they instantly taken as gospel and blindly assumed to be 100% correct with no validation effort…. just because it’s AI.

The web is flooded with wrong / fake information and data that AI can chew up and spit out.

Can only speak for myself but navigating the Investor Meet Company website is a doddle and a very helpful (and totally free) resource for a shareholder or anyone else interested in the company. Never had any issue logging in, or using the site, for all my investments.

Because as explained clearly below, an Investor Meet Company meeting is pre-planned, organised and scripted and in this case follows on from the CVLP announcement. Any new material news will arrive via standalone RNS.

My experience (and expectation) of meetings arranged via the Investor Meet Company platform, are that they are a regurgitation of news. As a for instance, following on from a Company’s Results and giving shareholders an opportunity to ask questions. Not knocking them at all as they can be very useful to both check understanding and build relations but expectations of huge, newsworthy significance will prove wildly inaccurate imo.

That doesn’t mean of course that there cannot be one or more RNS next week and maybe interviews linked to that.

Good luck trying to get clear answers to questions regarding specific discussions in the background, of a commercial / strategic partnership nature!
