“Main event on Thursday triggering the earlier results release”

The date of the Results will be less than 2 weeks earlier than they were last year! Is that really significant enough to be triggered by a “main event”?

I’m not expecting the Interims to be any more than what we mostly already know, with the addition of some post-period recruitment updates, which then further signpost data/trial timelines. Hopefully supporting what the CEO has already told us.

EE - yes, it’s an assumption but it isn’t without reason. Discount tomorrow and it leaves just 3 trading days ahead of 11th. Not arguing that it isn’t possible to receive news on those days but I’ll stick with my view that it’s more likely to be after the Results and that the Results themselves will signpost the timeline of a Modi data update. Let’s see.

The Modi updates in the Interims of Sep 24 and Jan 25 could only be described as very brief. (NB. Sep was Lindy as CEO and L’Huillier in Jan).

I am expecting the same again next week and as Burble intimates, a more comprehensive, Modi dedicated update to follow at a later date.

Without doubt (in my mind), the most tangible article now in the public domain of a potential pathway to commercialisation for the company, since L’Huillier arrived.

It’s always good to see contract wins announced. However unless they are hugely significant, they will always be seen as BAU ie. a company is expected to win contracts. Acquisitions that appear inexpensive are more likely to move the needle. The conflict in Israel isn’t helping sentiment either.

Has anyone else noticed the change in volume of RNS issued in 2025, when compared to 2024?

Strip out the chaff like Block Listings, Notice Of Results etc and I’d say roughly 50% down (I haven’t calculated precisely).

I get that the company can only release news when they have it and are also regulated to do so when that news could materially affect the SP. However that’s a noticeable reduction in meaningful newsflow.

I wonder if that is down to strategy imposed by L’Huillier, or simply coincidental. We all know the latter part of 2025 has been signposted by the company for further trial related news. Perhaps we can look forward to an explosion of news, beginning next week 😉

Who actually said conference attendance would result in an uptick in the share price? Not me.

If some investors don’t believe there is any value in continuing to network and potentially open doors / deals down the line as datasets mature that’s fine by me but it’s not my viewpoint.

On 2nd Sept last year, Scancell released an RNS containing a number of upcoming conferences they planned to attend. I’ve already pointed out here a while back that they are on the ESMO 2025 Agenda (search Varawalla in the Posters section) and it’s possible we may see a similar RNS soonish this year, relating to other conference attendance in the short term.

I’d suggest the skill set of those recruited into the Scancell team during the last 2 years or so would de-risk the chances of falling foul of some kind of unexpected regulatory issue. It’s been a radical overhaul to bring in the current level of experience, knowledge and expertise.

Someone with privileged insight once said “the best is yet to come”.

He may well be proved right before the year is out.

I believe in the coming months there will be tangible evidence of significant revenue streams resulting from the company’s global expansion plans.

As hinted at below, if anyone thinks any really serious cash will flow in from mAb development well before 2030, the chances are they will be disappointed.
