And this, a different one on Proactive this morning……..

In my mind, Texas Bio is a blind alley. Not just because of the confusion caused by material publication (and YouTube) dates but mainly because we absolutely know the Company does not consider COVIDITY as a core portfolio product. Recent and current focus is clearly elsewhere.
That 10 year partnership won’t simply evaporate - even with a possible change of government. It is up to others to come along, successfully change the landscape and thinking with undeniable improvements over existing treatments. SCLP is a tiny Bio but with totally compelling trial data, it isn’t impossible to challenge the heavyweight’s of industry (or get into bed with them). Doubt it will be a COVID vaccine but one of the multiple arrows in the quiver might in time hit the right target.
HAGW.
Both BEG and RFX are in the UK Shares “beaten up over the last couple of years” large bucket - far, far wider reaching obvious reasons than the ringfenced performance of individual stocks.
Topped up here today.
“The city once again has spoken”.
Well if it was speaking about the last 12 months, it would be saying BEG down 10% but FRP down 25%.
Can you not see how laughable your responses are?
This article is also interesting. I’m not implying it has anything to do with SCLP but there is imo a general thread of truth within…….

Yes indeed, there it is, the knockout blow to those here (or were here) who continually spouted the total nonsense of “little growth” and “acquisitions being a distraction” and when challenged, could provide no meaningful explanation when confronted with the facts.
“Revenue and adjusted operating profit expected to increase by c.13%, with a good mix of organic and acquired growth”
We all get it totally wrong sometimes I guess :-)
The good news is, you’ll be able to get a discounted hair cut on the way to the bus stop, your bus will be free both there and back (however many you need!) and many pubs have a “Golden Years” menu these days.
:-)
I would say not maintaining good investor relations isn’t very intelligent thinking. They don’t know if you’ve invested £1 or £1M+, or maybe are looking to do so. A copy and paste, generic, holding response would be better than total radio silence, leaving those raising questions feeling ignored and not at all valued as a shareholder / supporter of the Company.
Tempered somewhat perhaps, by the knowledge the AGM is close.
Jambo - I didn’t feel I needed to be told as was comfortable with what I read in the Results RNS and was no longer bothered by the previously planned investor presentation. It was already redundant in my mind.
Yes EE, I agree. The value of the Investors Presentation would have been diluted imo, by the circumstances created solely by the auditors delay. For an existing investor, there would have been nothing new in the presentation and just a regurgitation of what was in the Results RNS, that could simply be read by both existing and also new investors. Not the best use of anyone’s time.
There is also perhaps something in the fact they are Late-Breaking Abstracts recently. For me, this suggests there might be a positive edge to the interest gained at a conference ie. it isn’t old news that has been seen before (however good that old news might be) and as a consequence, the curiously levels of attendees are heightened. Perhaps a bit like repeats on the telly - you really enjoyed the first series but the new series creates extra excitement and anticipation. You watch that, rather than something else going on ;-)
Interest is very likely to be building.
Posted on 3rd Nov………
“Groundbreaking Science” (so says the Chairman in Results RNS) under discussion in San Diego later today.
Groundbreaking - Trailblazing, Cutting-Edge, Spearheading, Trendsetting, REVOLUTIONARY:-)
Revolutionary is the next word up ;-)
