G.Rees to compare how airtag works with wyld network is like comparing a car to a speedboat sure both have steering wheels and take you places but the method is completely different. Airtags don't work in areas where there are no iPhones as they use the iPhone to report location. iPhones are not a common thing in the rainforest or a herd of cattle, even if they were the iPhone battery would be dead in 24hrs and I can't see cows stopping to recharge it, the modules that wyld sale last up two years without charging & work in remote locations making them ideal for long term data collection. Have a good Easter everyone.
It's a matter of timeframes, it is true to say that the share price has doubled since 2020, which if you got in at 7.5p ish back then and accepted this would be a steady growth stock it wouldn't be to bad a return. It might double again in the next 4 years with steady growth and stable margins, the trajectory here is up though over the long term as things currently stand.
Absolutely right, but it shows the attraction for corporate events, how good word of mouth will expand buissness, how people will be exposed to the venues that might not nesscearily of thought to go and the snowball effect that can have. I'll be interested to know after whether people from the office will look to take friends and family back there. If this type of thing is happening at all venues that that will affect the SP, Sales etc.
Nice surprise on Friday when the office social Calendar got issued for the year. A trip to Boom Battle Bar Exeter scheduled for next month. That'll be 26 people on a Friday evening, be interesting to see what the office will make of it. Apparently our director was keen to go after attending someone else's event.
Yeah always been a quite board this, thanks for highlighting the linkedin posts. Looking through other posts on there the general vibes throughout the company seem really amazing, the general managers like you say are very happy with themselves, the teams seem to be having fun, hopefully this all translates to excellent customer experiences and better than expected sales.
I think in order to get DA to the next level getting Ten Eleven on board seems like a no brainer, they have far more expertise in cyber security area than Tern, they must see something in DA that they like.
Maximus thanks for sharing your views on the Oxford street venue, Its valuable to get first had experiences I think. Not been out much as of yet but planning a visit to the Exeter one with friends between Christmas and New year for a bit of shuffle board.
With regards to BBB Cardiff I have confidence that xpf management are aware of the issues there, so I'm sure they will be addressed. A refurb/refresh to bring up to standard of the recent venues sounds like it could help. From a maintenance point of view BBB will be more demanding than the escape hunt side of the business. There are BBB doing new year's eve party events with paid entry so there is a bit of diversification there away from just offering paid games, I'm guessing this will be more suitable to the sites that have space for that sort of thing.
We can all go visit the venues and see for ourselves how they're doing, personally I visited 3 so far, and have generally been impressed. I've also traulled through numerous reviews online for all the venues. These are my takeaways.
The positives
- People that visit most venues have fun, like the vibe and the games.
- Many say they will return.
- The staff at the majority of the venues get good reviews and make the games more fun for customers.
- Management are all over the reviews responding to positive and negative points and asking for further feedback on the negative ones.
- Staff seem happy to let gamers have a bit of extra time when the venues are less busy for no extra cost.
- Most venues had 4.5 to 5 star rating.
The negatives
- BBB Cardiff seems to be having issues, it sounds like it's poorly managed, poor staff, not clean (trashy was mentioned more than once), slow service, also staff have reviewed it negatively here. Does sound like it's very busy though which probably doesn't help the above.
- Some games are broken, seems to be crazy golf having the majority of issues here at various venues, I had similar experience in Exeter BBB.
- Rude or uninterested Staff, again seems isolated but quite a common cause for complaints.
- Bookings either not getting enough time or slow to setup games.
Why post this, Personally I feel like customer experience here will be the make or break of this company, if we are excellent in this area then this should be reflected in the amount of customers visiting and the SP/Financial results. Cheers
Agree with all your points here, xpf will be a brand leader having so many sites, research suggests that people are willing to spend more on social experiences than consumables and apparently this trend is increasing, I think this is may still be the case in a economic downturn. Boom are all over social media making the venues look fun and announcing offers, this will appeal to the target audience. I also think these venues attract a wider audience than traditional pubs and are less gender bias giving wider appeal aswell.
I read an article about dwell time and this sector, and these types of venues can significantly increase this particularly if they offer food/bar and music, boom also have TV for sports. It just means a customer staying longer spending more time and money with friends.
I believe the CFO said in the call that they will need to raise but they would like to time that with good news flow, I'm guessing that a RNS will be released towards the end of year stating orders signed for Jan/Feb with raise of X amount to fulfill those orders etc., whether that's at a discount or not I don't know, probably depends on where the sp gets to in that time.
Hi Doppo i didn't hear anything during the call that sounded odd to me so I'm happy to hold. My only disappointment was that they are not going to target UK, Europe or China quite yet. But I get the need to focus and hopefully some commercial traction next year will allow them to start to look towards these markets. It might be that Philips are a big factor in that given they are international. Cheers
Pretty happy with the meeting today, looks like hospital order books will be open again in January so hopefully they will have done enough by that point to convince a number of hospitals to adopt the tech and place orders, sounds like the doctors want it. My experience of the NHS is very similar very difficult to get projects started or funded in the current financial year if not already allowed for. Let's hope for some good news in Jan/Feb.
Not sure why there has been a nice rise here. But welcome it is.
NUKEM provide the Xenon gas for the polarisers, maybe they are seeing an increase in demand so are willing to buy more shares based on this. Cheers
The website says 1.6 million patients last year but how that breaks down to number requiring scans I have no idea at the moment.
It's the first Canister in Six years of work for the company, so a massive milestone. The hospital could be using the systems for at least the next 10 years, if not more so the first of many deliveries. There's 8 more research machines out there (I think), Im sure they won't RNS each time a can goes out I think they wanted to celebrate the first. Maybe we can expect to hear about the rest relatively soon and hopefully further orders later in the year.
Looking at the boom battle bar website analytics they seem to be getting about 250k hits a month on thier website over last 3 months, Jan & March were highest, but numbers seem pretty consistent. Escape hunt website 305k in Jan slight dip in Feb but a bounce back to 345k in march. Seems like a good sign to me and that business remains strong.
