I visited the Boom Battle Bar in Exeter earlier today at about 3.00, myself and the the wife played some Crazy Golf (most of the other games were fully booked), really busy in there, there were several stag and hen do's & people watching the Rugby, good atmosphere people seemed to be having fun.
I bought some in 2016, it was my first investment kept it as a monument to my failure at the time. My original thoughts are still sound today but the timing was all wrong the tech back then was just not capable of what the company was trying to do. Now the screen/software/networking tech has advanced to the point that the cost is low enough that this can be rolled out at a much lower upfront cost I think it can be more successful going forwards.
I looked the company up after a night out in the Exeter ****tail Club, very busy had to que to get in and ended up leaving in the early hours of the morning, fun place to be good vibe and no issues. Interested in making a investment in the buissness here so far I like what I see, doing my own research to see if it'll be a good long term move for me.
Mr Green, good point about potential sponsorship income. The video feed is exclusive to EMusic live, they also have backstage access with interviews, so it's going to be more interactive than what was offered at CaliVibes last month. The unique selling point here is the fan to artist experience. They need more of this on a more regular basis though to keep people coming back.
Stampee That's not the case for EMusic Live the business model is reliant on selling tickets and them getting a cut from merchandising, whether that's music tracks or t-shirts etc, so it's a different beast than the licensing side of the business.
In the RNS they listed a whole bunch of over events that iHeartRadio do, hopefully they see the benefit of doing this and Sign E-Music up for some of those, that would be a nice pipeline of events to put on the calendar.
If they really want this platform to take off they really need to be shouting from the rooftops what's it's all about, probably through Social media or whatever to reach enough people to attract the bigger artists and offer Paid for events.
Good RNS this morning pointing to a steady ship that is sailing in the right direction, I am looking forward to visiting Exeter Boom battle bar myself when it opens and seeing what it is all about. Went past there last week and the build looked like it was almost finished.
Steadily making up for lost ground it may take a while but hopefully will get there, more boom battle bars opening across the country, seems a bit quite on the escape room front maybe something will be announced before results are due.
The share price has been disappointing but it's my view that the buissness has performed very well through the pandemic and they have managed to grow in this time, definitely a disconnect between share price and buissness that to me looks like an opportunity. Do we think that they will take up thier option to buy flipout?

The company is global.
It's a good sign that customers are willing to commit to 3year contracts with 7dig, means that they are happy with the services offered and thier own future security. Hopefully this trend continues so the company can focus on getting new clients and not just retaining the ones they have.
Emusic live are offering 3 days of Cali Vibes festival for free, im at least gonna check it out to see what it's all about and how the platform has progressed.
