Charles Jillings, CEO of Utilico, energized by strong economic momentum across Latin America. Watch the video here.
The SFO should give up its crusade as being an international policeman with a squad of legal vultures in tow, all trying to make a quick buck milking the reserves of rich British international companies.
investigations intentionally stretch out over many years so that the fines can be inflated. A totally unjustified gravy train!
As we see with Liverpool council, some practices there are unacceptable and certain matters have been taken out of their hands due to irregularities and failure to keep proper records.
This is where the SFO should be involved, inspecting councils up and down the country handing contracts out to relatives and family members with corresponding business interests.
They should also be vigilant looking out for brown envelopes in local planning permission contracts.
I also suggest that any fine involved here should be paid at £100 a month over ' x ' period of years if there is no other way out.
Forget the multi- bagger fines.
I have strong views on the fine payment. It must not be paid to the SFO band of robbers.
It should go to a selection of charities in the UK instead. Maybe help fund the covid vaccine or help the homeless in London or the Salvation Army.
Pressurise your MPS to see that this is carried out.
It is great to see the government taking action. Foreign travel should be banned for the rest of the year until this virus is beaten.
The EU is not making much of an effort to do this with its spiteful political gesturing.
If we have a summer like the last two, we won't ever need to go abroad again.
Pity about aircraft stock. Human lives are more important.
Just thinking that as the firm is under so much unnecessary pressure from the bandits in London it can put in very low tenders for future contracts and grossly undercut the opposition.
All could lead to a better future. Look on the bright side of life.
To suggest a 100m fine is suitable is laughable. This company should just ignore it and pretend that nothing happened.
They cannot put a whole company in jail. Remember that money is not donated to a charitable institution but funds a gang of crooks.
If PFC paid it into a charitable institution of its choice we would all be satisfied.
Better than going into the back pockets of seedy lawyers who don't deserve it.
it might set a precedent.
In the past the SFO has murdered British companies and destroyed their capital values.
One in particular that I remember was Glencore. Before they greased their sticky hands here, the share price was around £8 a share. Since then it has been lucky to hit £3 a share. This attack has completed flattened the company.
They also hit Glaxo which is still a bit wobbly.
They seem to be just in the running to slam highly valued companies and live in luxury enjoying the fines.
They really serve no useful purpose and should be abolished as a useless quango and an anti British establishment.
Svend,
the gold price is just taking a rest as the big buyers, the banks, are now pumping money into bonds.
This will not last long as they are devaluing their gold reserves.
They are just hoping to buy in again at a cheaper price. Expect a very large rise over the rest of the year.
If they move the London listing to Amsterdam then the SFO should have no more power over them. it being now a foreign interfering body.
They could appeal to the court of Human Rights for its type of justice as a European concern.
They could avoid paying the fine and sack their inefficient lawyers.
Be bold and brazen.
This share should be doing a lot better than this.
Market makers are killing it off.
Tax avoidance!
Tax avoidance!
What next will they think of?
Maybe they are banking their money in the coffins!
They should use cheques.
Well said Shrewddude.
Sack the lawyers as they have failed in their job. They are only prolonging the agony to screw you for more money.
Why get screwed by the SFO and doubly suffer at the hands of you legal team!
DON'T PAY THEM!
Move your listing to Amsterdam and you will be out of the greedy clutches of the London mafia. This ie slow torture for shareholders.
There are other rivals starting up.
That means a lot of competition.
We are bot alone any more.
It looks like we may go to the air-raid shelters as there is a lot of flack circulating in the air.
Maybe GSK was right not taking covid 19 vaccines too seriously and leaving the market wide open to AZN.
There seems to be a hole in the bottom of the' VIR' bucket today.
Thank goodness I did not rush into this one.
It seems to have been pushed hard on this site.
Vaccines seem to be old hat, They are flying around like dust.
Possibly the board want it cut so they can give themselves a pay rise for destroying shareholder value.
They forget that they do not own the firm .
They are servants of the shareholders and have to be reminded of their lowly position.
