Should todays RNS push the share price up and further forward after this (interest rate Inflation rate) halt has settled down?

Genuinely believe that we could see a 10% gain by Ex Div date. Unfortunately I have to say that I was expecting a better start to the day

Buy Volumes are nearly 3 x that of sells today .

With a large after hrs purchase of 16:35:15hrs price 206.50 no of shares145,04 total cost of 299.52k

Hopefully this will carry on to the div date at least

If my calendar is correct the Us was open yesterday so any buying over there would effect the market first thing so this afternoon I can see a negative day coming.

If I was the BOE I would be promoting the UK banks to push the value of shares up this was I would get more from the sale of the shares than I would be at these levels

WE will be in for another div in just under 1 month.

I will carry on adding at these suppressed levels as I see this as an excellent stream of income in the future.

AS Of 17:26hrs today only 30,212,462 shares were purchased today. 120% more shares were sold so it will be very interesting in tomorrows RNS to see if there were any transactions in own shares.

Yes I'm hoping that the new base support level will rise to a higher level from the div pay date.

I think that this week will be a very slow week because of the forthcoming bank holiday weekend.

We will do well to stay in the 50p range and could quite easily slip to 49p/48p.

Hopefully we should surge after the weekend by at least 10% into the Ex Div Date.

I can def see LLOY being over 60p this year or Jan 2025 at the latest.

If these manage to creep up to 60p I can see them trying to force the stock back down to the mid 40's to carry on with the buy backs.

How many more shares do they realistically need to buy back as they are starting to get expensive to repurchase.

CNBC were very briefly talking about the looming copper shortage.

At the April Ex div the share price was £2.07. the carried on falling. I can see this rising up to the next div and carrying on rising instead of dropping back.

Ive seen last years dates but does anyone know this years div dates?

I sold my shares earlier this the year because Im getting a far better div return on other stocks, GSK is currently only paying 3.44%. as of today rate.

I def intend to return later in the year if the div improves
