Im looking for the SP to rise to 72p and make a new bottom there where it can then move up from.

I will reinvest my div here to help compound this share.

Apple is starting to drop back in the mag 7 so this will help the rest of the shares to on the exchanges improve as investors start to leave the Tec sec

Shorters will need to close their positions on TW. before the Feb interest rate meeting otherwise they will get severely burned if the interest rate Falls.

I believe that the SP will rise to 170 as soon as the interest rate starts to fall in Feb or the coming months.

As the labour term in power progresses then houses will be in more demand so we should see 225 over the next couple of years or more if the policies works out .

With this stock giving a good dividend at the current SP value then this make TW. a strong hold for me.

I have it n my ISA and hope to be compounding the stock with the div payouts.

That doesn't mean that the banks will start to give out mortgages though. I know of two mortgages refusals in 2024 because the chain taking to long. The buyers situation did not change but the banks still withdrew their offer.

If the net asset value is similar to the previous years then this share price should rise.

Yes you are right but this is the way that the cyclical shares work.

With covid and houses not being built and then the higher interest rates making mortgages unavailable the builders have suffered.

The bank of England is about to sit to discuss interest rates early in Feb. If they cut rates which they are currently expected to do then TW. SP should start to rise.

As the mortgage rate improves and the banks start to issue more mortgages then the SP should carry on rising.

This is all ifs and as long as...... but there is a clear path for optimism for the TW. investor.

I am currently over inverted in TW. because I believe that this will play out.

There is every chance of a surge in two weeks.

To my mind the stock market must retrace between now and Fri the 17th in order for the traders in the know to make a profit on President Trumps inauguration day on the following Mon the 20th.

I am holding and will buy more but def not just yet.

We have been told that two more sites in the south east are starting for us to work on.

The interest rate could go down by 0.25% this coming Thu. If it does there might be a possible short squeeze and we could retrace back to 140p. If the interest rate does not change this week then the next opportunity the commission will have should be early Feb.

Interest rates are key to the TW SP so I will be looking to add a long time before the Halifax declares its national mortgage availability number. The current mortgage availability number released earlier in Dec was only 800 mortgages more than the same time in 2023.

On CNBC they stated that in Dec 2024 there is only 800 more mortgages available in Dec 2024 compared to Dec 2023 even though house prices rose 1.6% for the month of Nov according to the Halifax. I don't see this as much of a positive and can completely understand that the SP should not be thriving .

For this reason I am adding at every opportunity even though I am 23.19% down on my current position.

The timing point for re-entre into this stock is my biggest issue.

According to CNBC this morning House builders are down due to the lack of confidence in the housing market.

YES Nickmain I play the same game with Phnx, LGen And MNG and it returns me a lot more than 20% per year.

Zantac Cancer Lawsuit Updates 2024

August 5, 2024: Zantac Defeat in Illinois

In an Illinois state court, the jury in the Joiner case determined that GSK was not responsible for the plaintiff’s colorectal cancer.

This is a blow. It is the second loss in a row. Does it mean our lawyers think these lawsuits will be hard to win at trial and expected Zantac settlement amounts should be adjusted? No and no. But we also cannot pretend that this is not a blow for colorectal cancer claims.

I made this point in the May 224 update below and I’ll make it again. Colorectal cancer was not among the diseases targeted in the MDL due to a weaker link compared to the five types of cancer that were actively pursued. This was because the plaintiffs’ attorneys in the MDL deemed these claims to be too difficult to advance.

I disagree with their assessment and still do. Nevertheless, there was a rationale behind their decision that has been borne out in these first two trial.

Still… this is just the beginning—two innings in what is a nine-inning game. Time will tell if the colorectal cancer lawsuits are winnable in front of a jury.

I do not have any real legal savvy but what i am reading on the internet is that GSK are paying off the plaintiffs before they go to Trial leaving Boehringer Ingelheim to contest the cases on their own.

If there is anyone on here with a better understanding of the situation then please come forward and share.

A better understanding of the situation would be appreciated by me for one.
