There are some institutional investors that are exiting their positions and have been slowly selling down their holdings. We're currently in a bit of limbo awaiting the latest Zambia updates.

I'm expecting the share price to go sideways/slightly down until the next RNS. If there's good news in the RNS, the share price should see a decent bump. If not, we could be at new 5 year lows.

It's a high risk share.

I sold out of SLP, but @Bangrack has a very good track record of calling things correctly. If you see him posting, I'd recommend paying attention to what he says.

I wasn't aware that ZMK had been replaced with ZMW with ZMK still available on xe.com.

10,000 Zambian Kwacha = 306.23618 British Pound

1 ZMW = 0.0306236 GBP

1 GBP = 32.6545 ZMW

That still seems pretty poor compensation for a family.

According the xe.com, the K10,000 sent to the victims is the equivalent of £0.30.

I hope that's not the case.

You accuse him of lying, but some deductive reasoning suggests he is correct.

If there was easily accessible (i.e. shallow) high grade ore, then there would be no reason to stop production/shipping during this drilling survey, would there? They could complete the drilling survey of the whole site while still operating the shallow pits. It's not a seismic survey that relies upon a quiet site, it's a core survey with drilling completed at set intervals / grid pattern.

It's strange how somebody can be such a company and management fan boy and yet completely ignore Jonathan's request for civility.

It's currently Schrodinger's pit. Maybe there's a game changing deposit of copper, maybe it's fully exhausted.

At least they're performing an industry standard survey, which I presume is due to Jonathan's influence.

That lead pollution and poisoning article is certainly grim reading. Mothers and their children scavenging on toxic waste piles. Children with abnormal levels of lead in their blood.

Are JLP responsible for the pollution or did they buy the mines with this ongoing problem?

I think there may still be ongoing downward pressure as some of the Institutional Investors continue to exit their positions.

As you've said, we're unlikely to see new buyers until we have more visibility of Zambian progress. Some long term holders may hoover up shares to average down their purchase price, but I doubt that will be enough on its own to buoy up the price.

My thoughts, based upon nothing more than gut feeling, is that the price will likely go roughly sideways/slightly down until we start to receive regular accurate updates.

i disagree. i don't think he has any credibility due to the number of 'optimistic' communications that have turned out to be bull****.

i'd prefer jonathan to give factual and realistic updates. i think the market will react more favourably to boring competence, rather than breathless tales of opportunity.

Gotreal - Your lack of self-awareness really is breath-taking. Jonathan made no mention of negative comments in the investor meeting, but he did mention abusive posters - of which, you are the prime culprit. He was attempting to put *you* back in *your* box, but not such luck.
