The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Only another 692% to go for break even !! Woo hoo
Lots of opinions... the only fact that really matters is that the SP has consistently fallen .... I have added....and added again to reduce my average. I could add more but wont as I feel that I already have too much exposure. Now sat waiting for almost a 75% uplift to break even!!
I dont disagree with many posts... looking at oil revenue, previous RNS... etc
My only concern is if there is some unknown justification for the SP drop... I'm hoping it is just C.A selling their shares... if they are still doing that!!
Other posters may say its manipulation... but seeing the SP drop daily is concerning.
Rant over !
At this price and with ongoing revenue from Lancaster... Hur is ripe for a takeover imho
Very positive article ... but is this news sending the SP down?
Shutts, some flippant comments. I dont agree that you need to know the ins and outs of operations in a oil company to be an investor.
Not many people like to lose money, whether it is 'hard earned' or not. Imho it helps to know about investing, company objective, performance, finance as well as the risks to be an investor.
Each of us will have our own strategy and at different times in different companies everyone will have times when they were right.
Interesting views... and logical views, hope you are right. I didnt think Trump would win...and he did. No certainty, but good opinion with regard SNP and Scottish income.
Any opinions / concern here on what impact will be if Labour win election on come into power. Especially as they want to tax oil companies.
Extract Below:
Labour has drawn up plans for a windfall tax on the oil industry as part of its attempt to shift the UK towards a low-carbon, green economy, prompting anger from some union officials.
I dont know if a well test is happening this weekend, but happy to assume that as Dr Trice is talking in London on the 28th, that something is happening from now to then... hopefully good news and spike in the sp.

I'm not lying and have no reason too. A lot of people have defrauded the benefit system. It's not a secret, people have been caught and sent to prison for it. Although Universal Credit has flaws, the concept that people on benefits should not be earning a greater amount than those who are working is sound. I dont know why you have chosen to call me a liar, maybe you are just looking for a reaction.
On a separate note... can anyone please answer this question regarding election.
Labour wants a confirmatory vote, SNP and Liberal want to revoke article 50.
So if Tories are unable to win a majority and this is also unachievable with small parties such as Brexit Party. What happens ?
Can Labour, SNP and Liberal form a coalition as a majority government even though they lost overall????
Left or right winged, is extreme. I genuinely believe that honest people with real needs.. need support.
Unfortunately, from experience I know too many people who abuse the system designed to help.
For example: I once had a couple who wanted to invest their money... around £50,000. Neither one had worked in over 20 years. The wife was a carer for the husband, who in turn was a carer for the son who suffered from Attention Deficit Disorder. What really surprised me was that this families household income was greater than mine and my wife's and we both had respectable jobs as a financial advisor and teacher!. I could highlight other examples too. It's a shame because I do believe that there are folk who need help but when the country try to address it, it is the genuine folk who actually suffer.
I was born in a time where life needs were greater than wants.
I look at some people who are classified as vulnerable and genuinely believe that a smart phone and flat screen TV is a life necessity!. This is just my view...
Share price falling, oil price rising now $65... looking forward to getting out of AIM!!
Rory the Tory is out. I liked his honesty...but I dont think bringing back May's deal again was the solution. With Net zero emissions promised, more electric cars and power points... it will eventually shift this share price higher... I'm not intending to hold this share that long though lol.
Ticking up nicely!! Now I just need Glenda, Lloyd's and Voda to do the same lol I think Boris will be MP, other contenders will pull out once he has promised them a senior position. Imho As for next GE, I think it will be lib dems. Just sharing my thoughts... what do others think?
Thanks Taverham.
For a few years now, there has been a threat of nationalisation of NG. In the event of this happening to a operating company with revenue and assets, what impact does it gave to share price on news of purchase... I would have thought an increase...but it drops each time news reappear. Any insight out there...I've checked Google lol
Snaggletooth. Your welcome ! No probs, if I see anything, I am happy to share it.
Hurricane Energy PLC (LON:HUR) will have to wait to complete the buoy hook-up operation as it makes the final, crucial preparations for its planned early production system on the Lancaster Field, in the waters west of Shetland. On Saturday (Feb 2) the pull in rope failed. There were no casualties and the buoy returned to its starting position and is not damaged.
Thanks for your thoughts Dicky !
Sold Glen a few days ago.... top up HUR or VOD... any thoughts?
