I really fancy taking a small punt on GBP - but not yet. This is the 4th time the sp has spiked up to 0.14p in the last 12 months, quickly followed by a retrace back to 0.08p.

The story looks good, but news will be a while yet. Profits even later.

If it drops I'll jump in and join the merry band :)

We have 5.09bn shares in issue. Another 8bn will hit the market on Tuesday. Personally I think (hope) it will drop - I've got funds waiting on the sideline if it goes sub 5p. If not, then I'll pick an entry point to get more :)

As Doozer & schlemiel point out, who knows? :)

Matters not, I'm in for the long term.

If Callum hasn't even been on site yet to have a look, methinks this will pull back. Long way to go, but also an opportunity to build a decent position over time?

Welcome back, we've missed you - again!! :o)

So, to get you up to speed (again), we've had the fundraise - you know, the one we told you would DEFINITELY happen. Well, it happened...... It was just enough to pay your mates (Poulden) salary, bonus and "fees" for another year. So you can relax now & bask in a warm glow of contentment that Richard can provide for his impoverished family for another year.

Unfortunately for you (and the rest of us), it's resulted in a 30%+ reduction in your shareholding because he's issued literally millions and millions and millions more shares to the register. Not only that, but he also did it at a massive 30%+ DISCOUNT to the market price, which we all thought was an extreme act of kindness and generosity on behalf of us owners. .But RP knows you won't mind a "small" dilution to your wealth. He reckons you're happy to "take one" for the team :o)

Also, he's now formulating a new "strategy" for us (we're all really excited about this latest revelation and can't wait for his latest plan to enrich us).

Unfortunately there's been no drilling, funds are a bit tight at the moment, understandably. Maybe next year, or the year after.....

Well, now that you're back, I have full confidence that things can only get better... :o)

Oh, I nearly forgot, how was Richard? How's his poor, impoverished family? Did you stay at his Dubai home? Or his Australian/Monaco/or wherever else he has homes.

Anyway, don't be a stranger me old codpiece, we miss your optimism, knowledge and complete & total faith in our glorious leader "Dick" Poulden.

We expect to see you here on the WSBN BB on a more regular basis now CaptainCalamari, so we can continue our debates on this amazing, once in a lifetime investment opportunity :o)

Having just read this mornings RNS about yet another fundraising I am absolutely furious!

You have effectively diluted current, long suffering, shareholders by 30%. Not only that, but you've done it at a massive discount!!

This seems to be a consistent & persistent pattern with you? Raise money from some unsuspecting investor, squander it, then issue more shares to raise more funds, then rinse and repeat.

It seems "almost" coincidental that the money you raise is also in the ball park figure of the money you pay to both yourself and the other Board members. Or have I got that wrong? I strongly believe you may be running a ponzi sheme or lifestyle company here. Time will tell........

Apart from diluting current shareholders to infinity, what have you achieved? You have no gold to show & there's been no drilling, And to cap it all, you've failed in entirety to have the common decency to respond to my last 2 emails!!

All you've done these last few years is buy up dubious bits of land and issue RNS's with promises of "jam tomorrow."

I find your stewardship of Wishbone Gold entirely unsatisfactory & believe you should step down immediately. We need someone competent & focused in the role.

In the interests of protecting private investors, I'm now strongly considering asking several financial journalists to look into the running of Wishbone Gold.

I won't bother asking for a personal response from you, as I'm a quick learner & realise it would be silly to expect you to change behaviour now.

Here's something to keep our merry band of GGP'ers happy going forward:

Gold is currently $2581oz.

We have 426,000oz of ore ready for processing at Telfer. The AISC for this is $1,454/oz, meaning a profit of $1,127/oz.

That's 426,000 x $1127 = $480.1m.

The deal cost us $475m.

We're $5.1m in profit already :)

And we haven't even started mining yet......................... :)

Don't bother Quant.

What is there to take over? Seriously? We have literally zero money & zero gold. There's zero drilling going on and zero drilling planned right now.

All we have is broken promises, pictures of other people's gold and the most extremely dodgy CEO on AIM in one Mr "Dick" Poulden.

A takeover would happen for a quid, at most!!

Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if either Poulden or his mate Gasbag probably started the rumour to pump up the share price - just before yet another, predictable, fundraise......

That occurred to me earlier when I was looking at the presentation, page 35 I think.

We currently own a chunk of the Paterson, will own another huge chunk on 1st October, and are JV'd with RIO on another chunk. Pretty soon we will OWN the Paterson :o)

That then leaves 2 options. We own it all, and make oodles and oodles of cash for 20+ years, or we get taken out by one of the bigger players within the next 5 years or so.

Personally, I like oodles :o)

They'll replenish the 15 month stockpile in tandem with processing. relax :o)

Yes it's a long time between first ore and first gold pour.

That's because they'll be spending the first 6 months manually pulling the big nuggets out by hand, in case they block the Telfer plant, lol :o)

I agree that the last option is the worst for us. RP just isn't up to the job at all.
