Nothing commercial here, cupla jars and the orange basin is far enough away from the walvis ridge as you can get. Nothing in the northern block's HRT and others have already pointed that out. Geology the same as Uruguay.
Shell hits oil in Orange Basin… too early to assess commercial viability...because there is none lol. Maybe they'll still be talking about commercial viability 50 years from now moonbean madness.

dry gas globally for free
Moneymunch
Offshore Namibia has plenty data read it maybe you can tell me the difference between north and south of the Walvis ridge and Lacustrine and Marine hydrocarbon basin formation?Qatar can afford to sell all its dry gas globally and make all the money it needs from wet gas butane ethene propane it cost them around $25bn dollars in ammunition from the US to take up the slack in global gas supplies no room for Kudu minnows or offshore Mozambique or Tanzania etc. or floating platforms with no one to sell it to.So i'll ask again how old are you?

How old are you?

a Tullow well manager pointed out TRP to me in a past life when they were in Uganda before the spuds. This company is run for the directors to collect a wage and they're always at the coo's tail in block acquisition then selling moonbeams to pi's it's an old and trusted way to make money.
That said you can play the peaks and troughs with the sp regds. news, spuds and block's.
Gulf of Guinea hold's few surprises in it's geology so it should go ahead but the guys get paid anyway and the longer it takes the better your golf swing get's along with your bank balance.
Percentage wise i would low ball it with the guys history plus the last few peak's in the sp seem to be selling opportunitys while pi's buy of course.
Finding oil and getting it to market are 2 totally different animals.

Kudu gas field 1.4tcf = 249,350,649mmbbl oil and will never be developed commercially because of the numbers involved. The data about commercial viability is from 10-12 years ago and released by TRP on a Namibia update.
Moneymunch kudu gas field dicovered 1974 and never developed bcos read my post right dummy. Jez there's plenty of data and they should know better cash burn exercise, desperation, give it any name you like.
best of luck
Upstream are misleading at the best of times their journo's paid to polish every turd for the hard of thinking. Another few jars of oil found within the cretaceous they'll go deeper but the outcome will be the same. What is it 300bbl+ recoverable to be commercial or it will be plugged and abandoned? The hydrocarbon forming basins south of the Walvis Ridge along the Namibia coastline may not be conducive to commercial oil and gas accumulations.
best of luck
Plenty of oil in the sweet spots and maybe gas or light oils deeper in. The geology has been done to death in the rio del rey basin and we have a partner on board who knows what they're doing, because TRP sure as hell don't.

When TRP shares hit the market recently the sp has spiked. Pi's being played rainbows and moonbeams out in force then the sp settles again locking the unfortunates in, from what i can see.
Back to the Uganda days there have always been placings on farmout news and never once did the sp dip lower than the placing on that day.
The guys know what they're doing here with the sp and news flow on the run up to spud: confirm farmout, rig aquisition, Mobile Oil Production Unit ("MOPU") aquisition to go straight to production? News on Namibia and South Africa Blocks, will all help add to the spud hysteria, there may even be delays and problems, which all add up to buying and selling opportunities.
80% COS for Cameroon in a well mapped basin? They might even get it right this time.

TRP usually have a placing on farmout news starting way back in the Uganda days, its nothing new and after each placing the sp price never dipped below the placing price and always progresses towards the spud date on news and usually hysteria.
So forward news from placing could be, farmout confirmation, rig aquisition, spud date, Mobile Oil Production Unit ("MOPU") aquisition? Namibia and South Africa news all adding to the hysteria plus there's always extra. All buying and selling opportunities.
The guys here have always been good at sp foreplay but the money shot has always been missing.
80% chance of an end product is pretty high and looking to go straight into production, maybe a new partner going forward also? Good news for the sp, no?
best of luck
I remeber the 4 jars this mob encountered(4 jars more than most)and the well programme that crippled the company and their CEO baled before the drill hit the dirt. A distinguished geologist no less, lol.

Jim knows nothing...get him over here if he'd like to take the Pepsi challenge.
I once spoke to an expert in the oil and gas sector who i soon found out only assembled the xmas tree for the top of the wellhead.
Jim drives submarines?(for 30 years)

Standard for TRP don't sweat. Lots of turkeys with Oil in their monikers...thats standard for these things too.
Tower's form is working out. Bit like Ocean Wind in the bumper...
best of luck
Historically TRP have had placings on the run up to previous spuds without the placing price being realised by the sp so if the cash is in place for Cameroon it would sugest confidence is high for the results(a placing for £7.5m would be devastating for the sp).
Jeremy and the 2 Pete's have been selling dreams to invest in for years usually you have to be asleep to believe them but they still get paid.
Can't believe JA got this block in Cameroon. Namibia geology suggests there's nothing there, but you can still play and benefit from the run up madness and the SA block might prove itself although TRP seem to be , like Uganda, at the tail end of the basin.
Don't invest here, buy and sell at the right times in the run up to spuds and hold these shares like they're burnin' your hands...Cameroon may or may not be the exception to the rule but you can't have any confidence due to TRP's exploration history.
best of luck

Keppel gets nod to start Gimi conversion
Early works to commence on FLNG vessel destined for the stalled project off Equatorial Guinea

Singapore’s Keppel has been given the green light to proceed with early works on the Gimi floating liquefied natural gas vessel by Golar LNG.
Keppel Offshore & Marine subsidiary Keppel Shipyard received the notice to proceed with early conversion works for the Gimi FLNG vessel which will take up to four months to complete, with the work valued at up to S$50 million (US$36.4 million).
Keppel added that full construction activities, further the early conversion work, would start once it received the final notice to proceed.
Keppel was originally awarded the contract to convert 125,000 cubic metre LNG carrier Golar Gimi into an FLNG facility in December 2014.
In May 2015, Golar signed a binding head of terms with Ophir Energy for the latter to use the vessel at its Fortuna FLNG project on Block-R, off Equatorial Guinea.
The project hit a major setback in late 2017 when talks collapsed with potential Chinese lenders, then earlier this year Schlumberger elected to pull out of OneLNG, its 49:51 joint venture with Golar LNG, because Fortuna had been unable to secure a debt financing package.
not seen your particular brand of crazy for a while. Give it a rest pal.
