Jefferies has raised its rating for online fashion retailer ASOS from 'underperform' to 'buy' and more than doubled its target price, reversing an 'ill-judged' downgrade made earlier in the year.___ The br oker's ratings cut back in January was based on gross margin compression and the thought that the withdrawal of long-standing operating margin guidance would weigh on the stock. "It didn't. Burgeoning revenue growth carried the story and the resultant outperformance made for a poor call," admitted analyst David Reynolds. High Mate, sorry I missed your post @ 9.28 am, I had to go out today, so couldn't respond untill now. I posted last Friday ___ "that suspected uncertainty shown here with the delayed / late results publication. Holders selling over those recent days bringing the SP down and I suspect stop losses kicked in for many. However, decent results and next week should be interesting as our friend stated earlier."___ I've followed this stock for a year now and the more I read through the Results I'm convinced the sell off was unfounded. I'm sure as stated, late reporting p!!sed off some holders and fear kicked in. I must admit I pulled out in the 70's and let some profit in to run. Might be some Investors expected too much following last years ace results & I remember you commenting too. Gable has in fact laid out a complete strategy which has clicked into place and should benefit well from here on. So whether one's a day tripper, and I see many have arrived on the boards today, or whether some are in for a longer spell, things will improve, and perhaps Investors who sold, may return at these prices.___ The whole story is there if one checks historic dates of Results and reporting, and reading the complete content of the latest Results. Strange that this site and Hargreaves Lansdown are showing more Buys than Sells today. MM's playing about again ?

However, following a business review and new auditors being appointed a more prudent accounting approach has been adopted resulting in a restating of the 2010/11 results," Panmure says in a note.___ "The share price will be under short term pressure following the 2012 results, but we believe that on a 12 month view the shares remain a 'buy' and that any short term weakness should be viewed as a buying opportunity."

Hi Jolly ' & Hardstand, I've been out today so a bit suprised at the drop on checking in now. The delayed reporting and perhaps, although good, not pleasing everybody. However, the Broker rating from Panmure Gordon posted today with a target of 71p is not so bad, and that figure was reached recently. That implies the figures could have been a bit better, perhaps the unease in Europe isn't helping. I still think we shall be seeing a higher SP in a few weeks, with some Jolly top ups!

Hi Capitalone, I'm confident the current situation for Entertainment One is very promising. The recent aquistion of Art Impressions will no doubt add value and ETO are growing bigger by the year.___ As you know it is anticipated that, subject to the premium listing becoming effective and other conditions being met, Entertainment One will be considered for inclusion into the FTSE UK Index Series, in August 2013, which includes FTSE 100, FTSE 250 and FTSE All Share indices.___ You would have read too that Entertainment One has a combined library of more than 35,000 film and television titles including the Twilight film series, Lord of the Rings and Peppa Pig, and is the world’s largest independent film distributor.___I did also add a few at 200p with the recent good news and didn't understand why the SP dived even with obvious profit taking, I guess that's how the Market is at present ( nervous ). However, we've seen a pull up this last week. If we make the FTSE I think it's full steam ahead. The Company is well rated for sure. Best wishes and good luck.

Snap ! We posted at the same time. I'm sure the reason is partly due to what I've just mentioned. The Market's "cagey" and I'm sure the late posting and date compared to last year perhaps provoked some fear that the Results might be less than expected. The current price following this drop, is in my view a "boot filler" the small reserve I had left has just been used to top up. GL
