Croma lines up new acquisition Companies: CMG 15/01/2007 Surveillance and security equipment specialist Croma Group says interim turnover rose 16 per cent and another acquistion is being finalised. John French, chairman and chief executive of Croma – which lost £1.1 million in the year to last June – says the AIM-quoted company lifted revenues 15.8 per cent to £2.6 million in the six months to December. He adds that the company has signed heads of agreement to buy a private maker and distributor of closed-circuit TV products. Hereford-based Croma is paying in shares valued at 6.5p, a significant premium to the company’s present 4.13p share price, for the South Welsh concern, which has an annual turnover of about £1 million. French suggests the new acquisition could lead to interesting opportunities abroad and maintains the share price premium reflects how undervalued the biddee company recognises Croma shares to be. He argues consolidation is likely to intensify in the sector and says this could lead to Croma, whose shares have veered between 7.87p and 2.08p over the past two years, being a target if the price stays low or alternatively a bidder if the shares are re-rated. Vislink PLC 17 January 2007 2006 year end trading update Wednesday 17th January 2007 The Group has had another record year with profits in line with expectations for the year ended 31 December 2006. Sales increased by 17.5% to £100 million compared with £85.1million for 2005. Orders received were ahead of last year at £97 million (2005 - £95.5 million) and the order book remains strong at £34 million. The Group expects its adjusted operating profit for the year, being operating profit before the amortisation of acquired intangibles, to be not less than £13.5 million, compared with £8.35 million for 2005. Nick Fletcher at the Guardian Intelligent Environments was among the first 50 companies to join AIM when it listed in 1996 at 90p and it has experienced a very bumpy ride. Ten years of losses as a quoted business and a near collapse pushed the shares as low as 1.5p but this morning the software group announced it is on track for its first ever profit. The company has developed software that lets banking customers sign up for everything from credit cards to ISAs and then monitor their accounts. Of the UK's top five banks all but Lloyds TSB are signed up and this morning Intelligent Environments announced it has just signed Unisys, one of the world's leading providers of banking systems, as a reseller of the mortgage platform it is currently developing. Shares in the company added 1.075p to 7.5p as its trading update for 2006 said revenues will be ahead of expectations and it will make it into the black for the first time. House broker Dawnay Day is forecasting revenues of £4.3m - up from an original forecast of £3.9m - with a profit of just under half a million. Chief executive Phillip Blundell said the company already has a £2.2m order pipeline and 2006 "was a very important year for us".

Tom Winnifriths Blavod Trading update @ t1ps.com 11 January 2007 Blavod* - Trading update Blavod* (BES) has this morning issued a pretty encouraging trading statement. UK shipments have increased by over 62% in the three month period to 31st December, which international shipments increasing over 33%, particularly in German and Russian duty free. US shipments for the company also increased in the period, led by the Company's tequila brand El Diamante del Cielo which was up 62%. Clearly it is very pleasing that Blavod has seen continued year-on-year growth in shipments during the holiday selling season. Meanwhile, as previously announced in late November, the company has received and signed a 'Letter of Intent' from an unnamed NASDAQ OTC:BB listed company that may or may not lead to an offer. The approach, which is subject to a number of pre-conditions, is an all share offer of shares. At close of business in November, the indicative offer valued Blavod at approx £12.83 million or 17.97p per share. If an official share offer is made for the company by that same NASDAQ listed business, it will have a value of a minimum of 17.97p per share. I still maintain that this is an absurdly low valuation of the company's worth as a trade sale. If there was ever proof of the old saying that market price does not equate to value, this is it. VT GROUP PLC 16 January 2007 VT GROUP SIGNS £400 MILLION OMAN SHIP CONTRACT VT Group (VT), the Support Services and Shipbuilding Company, has signed a contract with the Government of Oman to supply three Ocean Patrol Vessels (OPVs) for the Royal Navy of Oman. Work will start immediately on the programme with the first of the ships, which are approximately 100 metres in length, scheduled for hand-over in early 2010 and the subsequent ships at six-month intervals. The programme is valued at around £400 million over a five-year period, including initial support. VT Group Chief Executive Paul Lester commented: 'This is a major export success for the UK and maintains the long and successful relationship we have had with the Royal Navy of Oman over the past 25 years. These ships will be the most advanced of their type in the world when they are completed.' 'The programme will supplement our work on the Royal Navy's Type 45 destroyer and will ensure that our shipbuilding division has a very healthy workload for the next five years.'

Empire Online Limited 16 January 2007 Empire Online has been notified that Noam Lanir, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, has acquired 2,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at an average price of 43.68p per share. Following this acquisition Noam Lanir is interested in 103,116,837 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 35.2 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company. Mr Lanir is interested in these shares by virtue of the fact that he owns directly or indirectly all of the issued share capital of Groverton Management Limited, which has made the acquisition of Ordinary Shares. A widening in its first-half pre-tax loss prompted profit-taking in the shares of drug discovery firm Henderson Morley* (HML). The group, which announced on Friday that it was in discussions regarding a collaboration agreement with a life-sciences company, unveiled losses of 469,000 pounds at the halfway mark. The numbers were hardly a surprise, and by no means a concern. The group has been particularly busy over the past few months as it works towards the anticipated commercialisation of its patent portfolio and to develop Ionic Contra Viral Therapy. OFFER PRICE 17.19p Tuesday, 16th January 2007 Blavod Extreme Spirits converts 0.5 mln usd of debt into shares LONDON (AFX) - Blavod Extreme Spirits PLC said it is to convert 0.5 mln usd worth of outstanding credit on its facility with Laurus Master Fund in to shares at 0.1375 stg a share. This will result in the issue of 1.86 mln new Blavod shares, with Laurus holding 2.25 pct of the increased share capital. Under the terms of the agreement with Laurus, Laurus is prohibited from holding more than 2.99 pct of the company. Blavod, which is currently in an offer period, said its potential unnamed offeror has consented to the debt-to-equity transaction and confirmed that it does not alter its current minimum offer price of 17.97 pence per share, announced in November. Despite me saying holding at circa 2.00 pm yesterday, I decided to sell after seeing a profit/falling stop loss. With a small profit I have topped up into NXS. A slower but safer bet. HML could still 'Rocket' on the news but one shot in a Management that I'm not sure about will do at present. Do not let this put anybody off buying later this week or next week.Could still be an earner for the brave.

Tuesday, 16th January 2007 09:36 London shares remain down as market cautious ahead of inflation data UPDATE (up dating with full company details) LONDON (AFX) - Leading shares remained lower in early trade with a lack direction from Wall Street, investor caution in London ahead of today's inflation data and a weak mining sector dragged on the FTSE 100, dealers said. At 9.05 am the FTSE 100 was down 24.4 points at 6,239.1 having closed yesterday 24.5 points firmer at 6,263.5, below the session high of 6,279.7. The wider market was also in the red. Volume was average with 242 mln shares changing hands in 43,941 deals. Inflation issues were on investors' radars with data expected to show the key CPI annual rate rising well above the Bank of England's 2.0 pct target during December to 2.9 pct from 2.7 pct in November. Prices are expected to have been boosted by the Chancellor's decision to raise fuel tax duty after the pre-budget report and a continued increase in food prices. I set no limit on the S/P of this Company long term. The S/P always rides profit taking because these guys an' gals aways seem to cover new ground. They haven't even published the latest trading figures as yet, but we know they are good. Next week they show their Products in Dubai at Intersec Middle East on 21 -23 January. For sure there will be more orders in the Order Book. If I had to vote for a Management Team of the Year it would be RC Group.

RC Group off to another good start this morning. This is without any doubt my favourite If you find a dip BUY.
