Hutchison China Meditech Ltd. (Chi-Med) said its wholly-owned subsidiary Sen Medicine Company (France) SARL has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with a unit of Marionnaud Parfumeries SA. for the launch of its consumer products in France through Marionnaud's network. Marionnaud will carry 34 of Sen's premium health and beauty products in 125 shops by the end of 2008, the company said. Marionnaud is an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Hutchison Whampoa Ltd., which is also the ultimate holding company of AIM-listed Chi-Med.

Also Spirent Communications Plc. said it has signed a cooperation agreement with China Telecommunications Technology Labs (CTTL) to accelerate the rollout of location based services on Assisted GPS enabled mobile devices in China. Under the agreement, CTTL will use the Spirent's location test system as its standard platform to test the performance of GSM and WCDMA handsets, and it will cooperate with Spirent for test validation and re-validation work over the next three years. Hitchens Group plc, the AIM-listed multi channel retailer, is pleased to announce it is proposing to change its name to Wallgate Group plc ('Wallgate') and a circular has today been sent to shareholders and is also available on the Company website. The name change is a commercial move to facilitate and develop relationships with suppliers and partners. Wallgate is the sourcing and asset management division of the Group and the name change is expected to enhance credibility. We believe therefore that it is more appropriate to change the Group's name from Hitchens Group plc to Wallgate Group plc. The change of name of the Group to Wallgate Group plc is subject to the passing of a special resolution at the Group’s General Meeting to be held on 12th June 2008. Until then the Group will continue to trade under its present ticker symbol (HIT/L). Thereafter, it is anticipated that the ticker symbol will be (WGT/L). It is proposed that the name change and the ticker change will be effective from Monday 16th June 2008.

Offer Update / 19 May 2008 The independent non-executive directors of TMN Group plc ('TMN' or the 'Company') confirm that talks regarding an offer for the Company are ongoing and that they have received an indicative cash offer of 70 pence per share from funds advised by August Equity LLP ('August Equity') working together with the executive directors of the Company, Mark Smith and Craig Dixon. The independent non-executive directors are working constructively with August Equity, however the indicative offer remains subject to satisfactory due diligence and therefore there remains no certainty that a formal offer will be made nor as to the terms on which any offer might be made. The Company announces that it purchased 550,000 of its ordinary shares of 1.5625 pence each on 16 May 2008, through Numis Securities Limited at a price of 215 pence per share. I agree with your first sentence. This often affects the SP and it well may help to attract larger Investors as you say, but at the same time may well cut out smaller Investors. Regarding the latter, I would of thought Brokers would refer back to the Client before going ahead with such orders, but an interesting point. Nearly every share I've had in the past that was consolidated has reduced in value quite soon after, sometimes they recover as you know. GedW would be more 'clued up' on this, I suspect.
