I know we don't agree a lot x;) but yes, indeed CFO needs to go after this, these are not the things that should be uncovered by a retail shareholder in England for a Nasdaq/FTSE stock, playing with pension money and god knows what else, Seb and Al are chancers playing fast and loose, this gets exposed must be the tip of the icebergs of duck ups from those guys.

I felt PW was knowing what he was saying at 5-10k breakeven but the rampers take that as gospel and at 50k btc Argo makes 40k profit, its nowhere near cut and dried as that, never has been, especially now with Helios costs to be introd. Thinking about 25k per btc with Helios all in.

The mining sector of crypto had a great bull run now we find out how good it is in the Winter time under these conditions. Think we gonna see lots of luna type takedowns.

One other thing is that I thought these numbers would be straightforward to calculate but when looking at the April numbers I noticed something odd. The tables each month give figures in £ and $ BUT after a bit of digging I found the exchange rate used has remained unchanged since November 2021. I think this is an oversight especially as the revenue figures given above the tables (also in both £ and $) DO allow for the latest exchange rate. This may sound boring but if you use the revenue figures given, and the numbers in the table, then the margin for April is 75% using dollars and 69% if using pounds. There should not be a difference and the reason it is so big is that the exchange rate has changed so much recently.

Miners wont be expanding with these current btc prices. The big questions about opex and capex on this scale is gonna be tested now and we will see if its a commercial viability or liability. I think this has been the canary in the coal mine for some time and has caused a big drag on crypto sector, Riot being a classic example.

no ill tell you my biggest concern, is the true cost of btc being mined per coin by all the miners, but i'm telling you now argo do not mint btc at 7k, blonity came up with 15k 6 months ago about the time pw come up with 5-10k breakeven bs and we are at extreme levels of profitability, i think btc under 20k miners are fooked. including Argo, then the Blackrock et al start buying miners on ze cheap, will be interesting if they take saylor down too or if he's part of the act.

losing 5 mill to epic, about 8 million sterling to pluto and probably another couple of million sterling on luna are small change to some of my big fears, but still poor, i was just sharing little nibbles that eat away at me, but true btc cost mmmmmm they cant hocus pocus around that bad boy.
