First rule of economics, only spend what you can afford ? Seems to have been lost since 2008 and the gfc. Zero rates almost zero inflation gave btc a platform, btc has never been in a situation with high interest rates and high inflation so will be interesting how it plays out.

I’d be surprised if btc moons until the next halving and it still took a good 5/6 months from that halving in 2020 to g0 ballistic, all the stimmy money and the meme stonks created a perfect storm, I don’t know if we will have those factors in the next halving and may even have govt digital currencies by then.

Decoupling from stocks ? Btc has gone down far harder than the us markets this year.

Compare to Dow, nas and Russell, btc has fallen way harder than those.

They havent raised rates enough, thats the issue i think, if we had seen rises when they were saying inflation is transitory we would be at 4 maybe 5% and that could have offset the soaring inflation.

Central banks and the fed kept threatening interest rate rises until they realised they really needed to raise interest rates for real. 4 to 5 % rate stumps most govts and its costs to service its huge debts, it might bring inflation down tho x;) but a few other things will fall with it.

Seems like btc is ticking up again, Fed announce the 0.75 or 1 point rate hike, btc shoots down again.....

Like Argo a few red flags, hodl obliterated and urgently need 35k btc, will be interesting as it’s getting to breaking point for these miners, another couple of months of btc like this or lower, a few of these miners are gonna start blinking, a lot of derangement for Mara on this board, with its hodl and world class raising skills think Mara will eventually be the heavyweight champ.
