Yeh I saw that AB, averaging 2 blocks a day, awful. The comments about further curtailment at king mountain doesn’t inspire much confidence either. It’s a good time to be sitting on the sidelines and pick my price, I reckon 2.50 buy in price is still very achievable in Mara….

Lol AB I do love your Mara envy, if I weren’t so bearish with btc right now I’d be buying Mara, instead…. I reckon in about 2 1/2 years from now I’ll be celebrating a 30x win on Mara, just a shame I won’t be able to rub it in as the Argo lse board will be long gone.

Yeh Texas mining hasn’t worked out for many miners at all, lots of curtailment at king mountain again and if you’re in Texas get used to it ! energy prices continuing to rise for domestic and business users. Domestic are being told 15/20 % rise and last time I checked normal biz are paying 9 cents per kWh. Lots of miners are curtailing due to Leccy prices, that’s without the regulatory updates we will have off the back of build back better ! How many data centres have gone out of business now due to rising Leccy prices……

Riot look the best positioned in Texas no doubt! serious taxes and jobs for the local market keeps riot in favourable conditions, I don’t think they’ll have 2.5 cents per kWh for too long before it goes up but they’ll be way more competitive than most. 30 MW is waiting to come online from miners and Texas doesn’t have that availability I think a lot of the miners need to get out of Texas or at least spread the risk, Texas isn’t the cheapest and any surplus energy is being shipped to Germany at a premium.

It’s not all bad at Mara, another 20 odd million coming back from compute north some debt eased and about 130 odd million in cash and equivalents that they can access, lol silvergate look like they could be in trouble tho.

Clsk were selling in the 50’s last year too stnz, I’m sure myself Hexam and flowerpot were using clsk sales as a reason for Argo to sell it’s hodl when everybody else was saying it would be stupid to sell the hodl ! I remember those days. I’m sure Hex and flowerpot can confirm that.

HC I’m more interested in shorting still to be honest, have a large short down on btc, tempted to short the miners but will short mstr soon as I do believe btc falls further, once I feel the bottoms in then I’m gonna be interested in the accumulation but I see more opportunities to remain in the downside of all this, it’s gonna take time to mend, I did say a few weeks ago Fred at Mara has only factored in low btc prices till April, that’s going to catch him out imho

I was more interested in the article regarding contagion in the crypto game, as I don’t believe that’s seen it’s tipping point at all and the farce of keeping coins on exchanges is well documented what will happen to these exchanges as people either sell or put them in their own hardware wallets? It’s gonna be an interesting year hopefully bargains aplenty.

I said I’d be keeping an eye on the numbers many months ago the numbers haven’t been good in the 2 months they’ve had no 4cp, they’ve come up with a weird Argo excuse on why the numbers are low this month. Mined eh is poor right now that’s factual for the moment time of now. If I see improvement in that as they are 1 of my 3 miners I could easily invest in it but have to see huge improvements.

Let’s see what December produces after the Argo excuse of low numbers for November.

Hodl btc looks totally flawed.

I’m not trying to time the absolute bottom I’m trying to time when its worthy again to invest to make money from miners.

I’ve owned Mara in various stages when I see an opportunity to make money I pressed buy at 29 and recently 11 one was breakeven and one was a nice profit.

None of the cash the miners have, have been company generated I’ve said again and again the miners are all 5hit and they are lol they’ve wrecked themselves all of them have to certain points.

My 3 predictions of Mara riot and hut making it to the next bull run stands so what are we disagreeing on ? Performance ? but that doesn’t mean I have to like what they do during the time it gets to the next bull run.

I’m convinced I have 18 months left to punt down on the miners I believe live will profit for me, sometimes prices present themselves that change your strategy or may make me look hypocritical ie my recent buy at 11 in Mara, but I saw that opportunity in a short time frame to make money with it !

My issue with riot is they haven’t mined decent numbers all year because of 4cp in my previous messages regarding riot I explained I would be keeping an eye on the numbers and for me the numbers haven’t improved at all with riot so what I’d going on at production ? The immersion shed has gone on forever ? I’m still waiting

AB if Argo arent releasing q3's which are late why would they update the market with monthly update ?
