So what do clsk pay currently ? Per kWh ? If btc costs are similar to Mara then clsk price per kWh must be 5 cents ish.

Whether they get 3 cents is another matter but I don’t know why they keep saying these low prices per kWh when the mined costs do not tally with what they say.

That's at the moment, not last quarter. Last Q was higher electricity prices, lower bitcoin prices.

Why aren’t clsk buying xp’s I think seriously that you can only go deep into miners now if they have the most efficient fleets.

Ka3 and xp’s are winning hands down. The rest will be obsolete within a couple of years.

Cleanspark are getting around 3 US cents per kwh just now, and RIOT has a 2.5 cent PPA.

If this were true the btc mining cost would be well before 13.7kish per btc mined. I think Mara might beat clsk in the next earning for btc mined costs on Leccy.

Fred’s been clear they pay around 5 cents per kWh, so how comes riot and especially clsk perform very similarly on mining costs if they have such cheap agreements ?

The unit price per kWh is actually 65p then we are discounted down to the 30 odd p price.

That’s why I was saying 6 months ago 2 cents per kWh isn’t going to happen not when the states can sell energy to Europe for a far higher price.

Gas is at 2 year lows and no one’s talking about lowering bills it’s sick.

I may be a few things but im not a liar. 2 Questions when did il capo short argo ? and when did il capo start shorting btc ? i played both like a drum from mid 2021, il capo came into play latter part of 2022 for me 2 months worth, but lets credit il capo with it all. Poor investor i just dont think people appreciate winners especailly when its isolated, not many people copied me on the way down and not many copied you at 2.5p as soon as it spike to 20p you started getting the Chaebol derangement. People habe a problem with people calling things correct here and then telling them they are wrong.

A lot depends on the price, if btc goes ballistic and over 50k you’ll be able to plug miners in your house in the uk and make a profit, based on trends and waiting lists etc I can see it being 450 eh within 12-18 months.

Argo really do need to come up with a growth plan, or big problems for them by the next halving.

I’d say the option calls for tomorrow at 9.50 lost and they flopped, shorters definitely won today.

Btc 24.5 and Mara at this price is pretty harsh.

I’d use more of that dry powder to buy more. Shorts need to get rinsed in Mara that fight has some rounds left to play. It’s very sensitive to downward movements in btc right now. Some big swings, maybe mister beck did call it right today after all, another day another 80 pence.

Was surprised btc stopped at 25.2 hopefully the after midnight crowd take it up over the 25’s again.

Too true PI, Soros thinks so too and Morgan Stanley and Lazard and on and on and on I have a lot of reasons to be bullish with Mara.

The question I ask myself a lot is What happens if Mara continuously mine btc at the same prices or less than riot clsk ie the miners that are spending hundreds of millions on infrastructure. I think a lot to be said for the light model Fred has and imho I think that strategy wins, buying the machines is costly enough.

Does that mean hundreds of millions spent on sheds is viable ?

Mara is providing some great ops at the moment and has no nasty surprises due (dare I say it) Chopsing was saying last night shorts need to close and I agree with that I think if btc can hit 26.2k tonight a lot of Mara shorts flop and the sp will be squeezed upwards.

Long crypto mining investing feels exciting again. Fomo has to come as well should be good for a few miners.

I’d rather look at clsk when it’s done that expansion and see how those bonuses transpire for Matt and Zach. A very risky play imho Hexam but all we pay and take our chances.
