please advise how clsk is holding up better than mara, Mara has half a billion in cash and btc. CLSK has 1000 BTC and massive bills about to be ramped up, cash in the bank is mainly for the xp's 90 million, so the only way they can raise significant raise significant funds in the foreseeable is dilution.

Will be interesting to see which miners line up for the new rigs with bitmain next year. I think China is getting dangerous to do business with, especially if you want those rigs in the US. RIOT have pivoted from bitmain with its new order and who knows what mara does with Auradine rigs, need to see some mass scale working info on those.

Most of these miners are at bare bones now although HUT could make a big move with bitmain or someone else and they do need a new fleet.

Who knows lol they might be buying clsk rigs by then as another graveyard miner hits kaput x;)

I wouldnt say mara fleet obsolete from 2024, that would make every other mining fleet obsolete as well. Currently they have the most efficient fleet just some of the highest kwh prices. Emirates should bring those overall costs down.

Im sure S19's XP or rigs over 100TH will be fine.

Argo never had sub 2 cents in Texas nor any significant immersion overclocking, as mentioned at the time they had no results just him and perryy speaking about it, transpired you would have the same results with air con vs first generation immersion mining plus all that stupid capex to put them in immersion and probably broke the warranty on the rigs as soon as they were dunked or modified for it.

I remember watching Brewsters millions when i was a kid and Peter Wall took that movie and ran with it lol about 250-300 million up in smoke and Dickens County still got no pool.

With another 20 odd eh due outside of the USA and hopefully a lot of it in the Emirates, its overall costs should come down considerably.

Will be interesting to see the Auradine rigs in action and how mara choose what kind of rigs they will be using overseas. You'd imagine they have a good 3 year runway with its current s19 XP rigs in the States, I think if any miner is going to actually make money from this sector Mara is the one of very few i can see doing so.

Burry has been like this for 8 years its amazing how far Government money printing can take and i dont think him like others thought Central banks and govts would prop all this up for as long as they have, I nearly spat my coffee out when they said Burry was long on Japan in this same bet lol

Yeh you would hope the incoming btc spot/etf approvals stateside should see a run in September/October, I hope so anyway. BTC never really breached 32k and ive been bullish for it all year to start smashing 38k and beyond, hopefully it comes in the next few months and i'll definitely be looking to get my money out and watch from the sidelines for a while.

I have questions for bitf and riot x;) riot has the cheapest btc mined costs but then every other cost kills it, a lot was in depreciation for riot but these machines and buildings do need to be factored in....... I see none of the miners spout 80% profit margins these days like they used to shout about in 2021.

Mara's earnings was a little bit deflating for me and its no surprise its tallied down, and showed the industry is quite farcical its not just Pete x;) these mining CEOS and insiders getting rock star wages bonuses for loss leading entities, its becoming a bit grating. Mara needs to get its cost down and i felt for the first time Fred got mauled on the earnings call with flexible and fixed loads, Fred started waffling on about closing operations if btc hit 15k but mining btc for just 200 dollars less per coin than the zombie miner CORZ definitely troubles me.

Ill hold for the halving as im stubborn that way but i definitely have my eye on the exits.

Clsk is at a billion mcap now at 9 eh, i think thats pretty fair with all its crazy bonus structures.

They install that 7 eh without any issues and riot keeps failing and mara do not announce any expansion plans i think youre looking at 1.5 billion plus.

Lets see how that dilution goes, Zach, matt and Gary get another 6 million shares in bonuses for hitting 16 eh? if they hodl btc thats another 15 million usd a month they need to find and more as they ramp up to 16 eh. I thought the share count at 152 million was a lot, i think if they dont dilute further its a good deal but like i said before ill be impressed if they get to 16 eh by end of year and below 170 million shares issued, that looks unlikely on the shares and who knows on the install...... meanwhile mara YTD +11.43 (336.18%) and next announcement of eh expansion im sure will blow these lower tier miners out of the water.

Yeh 'underwhelming' key word for me ! how have costs gone up for electricity? in a downward market. So many things winding me up ! another hardin one off cost? only own 12% of Auradine and that could get diluted if we dont keep contributing to the fund raisers.

All in mining costs for btc is 39k, thats going to be the industry average looking at other miners q2, So they need 40k to breakeven and after the halving miners will need 80k per btc to break even. I see problems.

Find it all very strange.

Hey PI, I dont think it will separate from btc thats always going to be a major moving point. I think it will start to separate itself from other miners and maybe MARA RIOT HUT are the 3 that will remain popular due to their hodl as we approach the halving.

The rest are basket cases and could end up doing anything, I have not deep dived into CIFR or IREN, but none really feel like they will outperform those 3 miners, for now!

If they end up under 180 million shares issued by halving and 16 eh is online ill say well done, but i do see chaos with them. GL

I was always highly critical of Ercot....I just hope Garden City is energised before the halving. x;)
