“As stated in our most recent press release, Hurricane is confident that the water cut observed is related to perched/stranded water. This view is based on a number of technical observations including temperature data, lack of rate-dependency, and water production behaviour after shut-in periods. We've previously stated that it is not affecting oil production or costs and we therefore do not see it as a problem.

Crude offtake tankers are used for oil offtake, not water. The fluids are separated on the FPSO vessel where the water can be cleaned up and overboarded. Our guidance is for total oil sales for 2019 of 2.8 million barrels.

Imo anybody with a holding of 3p watching it slide day in day out down to 6p is foolish not to top slice and have a free carry. Not often you can get all your money back and still hold all your original shares.

Nonsense. There are dozens of shares that have died a death taking peoples hard earned with them . Your statement is far to generalistic. You may be happy with your 3p here,( although some might say you should have sold in the teens and doubled your holding or had a free carry), but the stock market is littered with shares that " once were". Shares that people wish they had sold when the price was such and such, but has fallen to practically worthless.
Par example Sound Energy.

As things are quiet on the run up to Christmas .

Here in the Highlands we have had the most glorious weather for days on end. Blue skies, hard frost and not a breath of wind. When I take the dog for a walk and skan the horizon I can see up to 200 wind turbines and not a single one turning. So when we have the coldest weather we tend to have the least wind.
Reckon oil and gas will be on the menu for a long time to come.
Peaceful and enjoyable Christmas to one and all.

I would respectfully suggest that you sell your holding in Hurricane and buy back in when the next Twitter guru from Switzerland, or even better Monaco, gives it a positive spin to suit "their" investment.
