thanks all...ive binned off HSBC and was able to setup an ISA with IG there and then.

apologies if this has been covered but I'm hoping someone may be able to assist? if i move 20K of EUA shares to an ISA (don't have one yet) and it sells / suspends etc whilst the transfer is pending is there a possibility of being locked out?

again sorry if this is a stupid question but I'm still waiting for HSBC to get back to me and there are a lot of knowledgeable people on this BB..... naturally i wont take advice as gospel!
