i had a chat with them this morning and was told to email helpdesk@ig.com...i did so but haven't heard back as of yet.

that's me out sadly, thanks IG!...and it took several attempts. I will now watch for the morning and will load up on physicals at some point today for the final ride in to the sun set.

get a loan??....Spread betting works great for me on volatile stocks and it tax free gains. its been fantastic on the Covid plays and EUA especially and another legitimate way of trading...each to their own i guess. i take my tax free profits from Spread betting and then but physical shares...therefore i don't have to use 'MY' money i have already paid considerable tax on to get taxed again if the physicals become profitable. its certainly not sad...H-hi. Granted IG have put an end to that but the holiday house in France, children's education any my family are pleased to date...tax man has enough from me. keep safe.

Just had the email off IG details the closing of positions and increase to 100% margin. i have a decent physical position but a lot bigger SB which has naturally taken a beating over the last few weeks. im guessing this is where the steady drop is partly coming from as i have had to start closing positions. i shall wait for Thursday before i sell out completely and will immediately reposition in share dealings. id expect to see the selling slow down slightly now and like me will start buying back on Friday / Monday. Could be wrong but this feels (as i am experiencing) to be the case. it would suit be perfectly if the sale RNS came before! keep safe all and take care...Chris M.

I’ve just checked my IG messages and there is nothing in there regarding margin increase. Is this just for CFD’s and not SB’s?

Must admit it screws me up as I’ve a large SB on this and average is not the best due to recent slide. Let’s hope or sells before the 26th. Criminal really

my question is, i read a twitter post regarding IG, that they are closing all positions in EUA within the next 30 days....i really have no idea what this means and hope one of you knowledgeable lot can help. keep safe and be merry. take care Chris M.

this is the first time I've seen EUA go to: Closing only: Market unavailable to open! unable to increase my SB at these prices. has anyone got a theory for this?

had a shed of SB positions closed yesterday and feel a tad bruised. time to dust off and have another crack , its a brutal market and can consume the majority of your thoughts second guessing and spending profits you haven't yet received. i have found its good to dream but with both feet on the ground.....the game isn't over, in fact i think it just started. To those that have lost, been closed out or forced to sell, i am genuinely sorry. those that brag, belittle or mock peoples losses are to be ignored. GLA and lets see how today plays out.
