Winalot, that is correct and spot on.
Simple investor, you are wrong yet again and making yourself look misinformed at best or perhaps rather silly if I may say so. - and yes, I have "tried" it many a time (to and from various assetts WoS over the last decade) and 35kt wind speed is NOT "storm conditions" by any stretch of your imagination- and flying in 50-60 knots Wind Speed really isn't uncommon and certainly not unsafe - and certainly adheres to "flying regulations" despite what you think and post.
As winalot states, the pilot may have discretion on flying speeds but the Heli-Deck will be "Red" (out of limits) when wind speed is above 60kts, or the Cloud height is too low, or visibility is low, or Sig Wave above 6m or the vessel/rig pitch and heave is out of limits etc - which means the pilot will not land on the offshore rig.
