TIMOR GAP, E.P. proudly participated in the Offshore Technology Conference Asia (OTC Asia) 2026, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 31 March to 2 April 2026.
From the very first day, strong interest from a diverse range of participants, including industry professionals, service providers, and energy stakeholders.
Visitors engaged in meaningful discussions, offering both offshore and onshore services, while many sought updates on the progress of the Greater Sunrise project and other ongoing national initiatives.
The momentum continued throughout the second and third days, with increasing engagement from industry representatives. A special highlight was the visit of H.E. Ambassador Lisualdo Menezes Coimbra Gaspar, reflecting the importance of Timor-Lesteโs presence at this prestigious regional event.
Also had the honor of receiving Datuk Willie Ng, a distinguished figure in Sabahโs oil and gas industry and Advisor to the Sabah Oil and Gas Services Council, further strengthening connections within the regional energy community.
In addition, several companies expressed interest in providing training opportunities for TIMOR GAP staff, while others explored potential service partnerships for future projects. Representatives from Pertamina, Petronas, and SLB also visited the booth to exchange insights and discuss avenues for collaboration.
The continued interest in the Greater Sunrise and Bayu-Undan projects highlights the growing confidence in Timor-Lesteโs energy sector and its promising future.
