Very interesting posts - you appear to be winning over a few given the tick-ups but then again even the worst case scenario is positive for most of the new entrants and the ramp brigade.

My concern is that whilst even the worst case scenario framed gets the traders a healthy profit there will soon be a dawning realisation that the list identified after "Even in a perfect announcement:" will then kick-in and will need to be addressed. The SP at that stage will likely be denuded and it will take time to fill-in the blanks..

The other, perhaps more significant, point is that the worst case scenario painted here is "Good farm-in" - there are many other scenarios that could be painted which are less optimistic than this.

An interesting piece of analysis.

In a negotiation you're assuming that Hilcorp would validate value. If I were Hilcorp I'd be saying the same thing and suggesting that, without them, PANR have nothing - and if Hilcorp/AN Other get to that point they're in the negotiating driving seat, NOT PANR. With luck there will be a bidding contest but don't bank on it.

Time and cash running out/run out, where does PANR go? Having to accept a low ball?

Let's not forget that the negotiating teams of the bidders will be far smarter than any of us, however much we'd like to think differently. The key questions being 'How long can PANR survive and how cheap might a pursuer be able to pick up a distressed company for?

Unfortunately, it happens all the time.

Merely because you say your invested to the tune of a million shares doesn't suddenly make you an expert in all matters. Clearly, you are speculating here and this is quite frankly nonsense. The only point at which a realistic estimation of value can be made is when the terms of the deal, if there is a deal, is concluded.

In the meantime, all participants in the process, whether they make an offer or not, will be bound by an NDA.

Don't therefore expect any meaningful information to be released until a deal is done, or not.

Did you do your homework on fundamentals prior to appearing here as recently as December 2025, followed up by as many as 48 illuminating posts. Have you studied the background of the company and its recent history - the history Tony outlines?

Have you noted that whilst there's lots of oil in the ground under PANR acreages, the company struggles to make a physical, practical and commercial case for its economic extraction, hence why we are where we are? Did you note the past drilling failures that those who were around prior to your arrival witnessed? To our cost! Pulling water out of the ground when you promise oil never seems to go down as a rip roaring success. Did you note the Christmas cheer when the company went to the market to raise money immediately after it said it wouldn't? Even Spence admitted he was hacked off at that one! Did you note the changes in published status of the business from explorer to producer, to Trump's gas producing pipeline saviour, to seller-off of assets. Hopefully, it won't end up at the local car boot sale! Did you note the changes in the Board of Directors ?

You quote the headline of this being the biggest oil find in 2022 - big deal. They may as well have found it on the moon for all the good it's done to date. Just as a reminder, we're now in 2026 and they've given up trying to get oil out of the ground themselves.

Thanks for your "humble and respectful" reply.

I have no doubt that the experts believe there to be potentially huge resources.

The problem is that the other so-called experts have not yet found the means by which those resources can be commercially extracted - would you disagree?

The company has moved from one strategy to another, initially it was an explorer, then they told us they were going to be a producer - that hasn't worked because of my extraction point above. They raised money, then they said they didn't need any more money, then they immediately raised more money. now the whole shebang is up for sale in one guise or another.

Throw into the mix a number of failures and false dawns, several changes in key management personnel and here we are.

It doesn't read that well does it and so no wonder the SP is where it is?

The corollary might be an investment property in London - structural issues, poor location, letting voids, listing issue preventing redevelopment, etc, etc. It might have 'potential' at a rock bottom price, but it doesn't mean that your going to turn it from a Sow's ear to a silk purse anytime soon.
