....today's RNS from the hitherto 'nay sayer' noisy neighbours.
Had it not had their logo attached, I would have sworn that it was a PANR presentation. Looked to me like a strategic carbon copy. They do say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery ............ tell that to the most vocal of the nay sayers, most of whom have gone VERY QUIET.
How times change ;-)

The fickle market doesn't always get what it wants and I'm happy that we don't see a series of boom boom RNSs only to be pegged back further down the track. That is not the way this company operates.
Multi £Billion companies are not created overnight.
All good so far and so I suspect we actually agree.
Not quite there yet but a very comprehensive and professional update confirming great potential upside from 1.78 MMBL as the analysis develops.
Alkaid 2 flow testing ongoing.
Bob Rosenthal says, "I believe our current estimate of 10% has the potential to be conservative based on what we are seeing at the moment"
Email sent to the company this morning.:
To the Board of Directors
You may be aware of well publicised share trading activity by well known short selling groups which has had a devastating affect on the company share price in the last few days. This has led to some disquiet amongst many shareholders that the share price fall is in some way justified by progress, or lack of, on the ground and concerns about the status of flow tests.
In such circumstances other companies issue a rebuttal RNS to confirm that the company is not aware of any internal factors which may have resulted in such a movement. Something along those line would be helpful in these circumstances. Alternatively, a positive progress update may suffice to calm the market.
I hope that you will find yourselves able to accede to this suggestion.
Kind regards from a supportive shareholder.
Squirrel26,
Thanks for the intel. It appears the FT are trying to link PANR's position to the West Shetland failure of Hurricane Energy - appears very obscure and in completely different environmental and economic circumstances.
Amusing references to "tinfoil hattery" and "doxing" in relation to the social media action. I had to look them both up - is that a sign of age?
Villa,
"social media such as twitter can spread harmful news at an alarming rate of speed"
An excellent point, but aren't we hypocrites, when that same social media recently catapulted our neighbours SP against a backdrop of arguably questionable, if any, fundamentals for our benefit? I suppose we can't have it both ways?
1. Great fundamentals, progress and with good news anticipated soon.
2. Last chance to get in?
3. Lots desperate to get in at the lowest possible price, having missed earlier opportunities.
4. A few nervous people freaked by a seemingly negative few weeks set against no. 1 above, especially given trend back from the 140s and some questionable Director selling and delays.
5. Negative macro-economic trends
6. Christmas presents to buy ........? ;-)
A 2-3 day wonder initiated by those whose tactics ought to be outlawed? Hopefully.
A buying opportunity? Time will tell.
Many with fingers burned on the 'sell' button? Hopefully not.
Lots of theories today - just my thoughts to add to the melee.
Blimey Brian, we are agreeing again! ;-) 478s and 483s would be a nice addition, contiguous with Alkaid, Talitha and the Dalton/TAPS.
I suspect they may now be a bit pricey given the PANR finds. Nice to have, but not necessarily critical.

To the those with the technical knowhow -
I presume that like filling any crevice (in this case the frack cracks) there will be excess to clean up - is this the case with the sand?
Is it possible, as alluded to earlier, that the pressure of the well is forcing more sand back than anticipated?
If sand is being forced back, presumably it is not fulfilling its intended function of keeping the fracks open for flow - is this detrimental in the long term?
