No offence was intended and my appearance was largely tongue in cheek at the expense of Rick 123, whom I've 'sparred with ' on PANR. I hasten to add he would be the last person I would normally follow around the BBs and nor would I rely on his Due diligence. The only place our paths have previously crossed is on the PANR BB. He arrived relatively recently and then disappeared, whilst I've been a SH there for several years.
He went across there this afternoon extolling the virtues of Blencowe, in his inimitable fashion, suggesting we have a look. I note his post has now been removed.
I did have a look.
I spent just a few minutes and picked up a few facts which raised a couple of questions.
That's all.
Once again, no offence intended and I certainly was not wishing to appear 'smart' and nor was I intending to sound informed, when I'm sure experienced LTH here will know more than I ever could about the company and its business, me having spent only a few minutes researching it.
Good luck with your investments. It looks quite an interesting business in a market definitely in the technological here and now. I hasten to add that the pencils comment was an attempt at humour - it clearly backfired!
Kind regards

"He always follows me to do his research, I just wish he would do his own for a change."
Haha!
Ricky the only research you do is into the daily movement of the SP and comment upon it incessantly.
I'm surprised you know what Blencowe does. Any answers to my queries?
Ramping Ricky has indeed been spreading the word. Good to see that the posting style never changes. 😂
No rockets Rick?
Good result today with the testing.
Great potential market demand.
What's the forecast SP?
How much more funding required over and above the US grant aid?
Any thoughts on regulatory and governmental interference in a central Africa regime?
Timings?
BigBear2,
"the BOD are actually doing something to align themselves with shareholders, impressive."
Totally agree and rarely seen.
Moreover, they recently publicly committed to do so and have delivered on their promise in short order.
Massive appreciation for the way David Hobbs has managed this.
To have obtained support from large investors, who clearly believe in what he's traying to achieve, is brilliant and must give him a huge shot in the arm, and deservedly so. To have tipped in a large sum of his own money is equally admirable and above and beyond what most in his position in an AIM explorer would ever do.
Hats off!
Just trying to have a balanced Monday morning view, erring on the positive side.
It's easy to diss the proposal if you're minded to.
Almost always it's funding, funding, funding, but that's the nature of speculating at the risk-laden end of the market.
Politics and governance is always an issue in Africa but, hopefully, this area is a little less volatile than some others.
Not hugely wedded to the prospect, but thought it interesting nevertheless.
A very interesting one from left field, or right field - whichever way round you've got your globe.
Clearly, there will be a need for funding this and the existing Alaskan commitments - aren't there always, but if the eventual returns are there and the shareholders are not going to be fleeced, as they have in the past, then it seems like a low cost of entry for potentially significant reward. The balance of financial commitment across the four organisations appears credible and means that 88e are bearing the total risk burden.
There will always be the negative naysayers, and I'm sure there's more devil in the detail to come, but you've always got to speculate to accumulate.

i'm enjoying the other place at the moment. your (cat33) cohort are typically high on bull**** and insult and rarely can put together a cogent argument. they are great on unsubstantiated one-liners - exactly like you over here.
now revelling in the prospect of shareholders losing money - looks to me like you've overstepped the mark.

Interesting choice of words;
"I shall continue to contribute whether of not the cohort of touts like it."
Contribute: Meaning 'to give something, especially money, in order to provide or achieve something together with other people'. (Cambridge Dictionary)
What do you consider you are doing which complies with the definition?
You see, sometimes you appear eloquent and at other times not, sometimes you get it right (English and Grammar, not content) and many times not.
Sometimes you appear on a high and at other times you simply disappear.
Are you OK?
Are you being exploited?
'Who are the cohort of touts'
Are you being mislead?
You're life appears really miserable - it must be if this is all you do, merely being a "dispassionate observer".
I think you need help.

Not many people talk of 'reserves' and funnily enough both you and the cat man on the other side have referenced them in the last few hours. Do you even know what the terms means?
Have you suddenly become an accountant or banker with references to 'security for a lender'? Do you know what that means?
No, security does not mean that you go straight to a placing or convertible debt. If you continue with your Googling you mind find there are many other options too.
Happy learning!
Mowmoo,
That's a good extract to emphasise. Extrapolate the results to the full pay interval and we're looking at the potential for a 40x multiple of the 80-100 BOPD with additional and commensurate improvements on frac length.
Mind blowing!
