Time is a funny thing, seems to speed up when you want things to slow down and go at snail pace if you want anything done quickly.
IMO the bod wanted this done before the festive break for Russian Christmas, why else specifically mention it in fsp update. IMO we are on borrowed time

I also take comfort in what AC did, he has made 8m from EUA and BOD/employees nothing until sale.
I believe if the sale was not nailed on and north of 29p then the BOD would be doing their up most to screw him over and I would have thought his 40m options would have been ‘clawed back’ which seems not to have happened as would require a rns for holdings.
I have done some research on options and the possibility to revoke them seems to be there but someone more in the know can confirm if I am wrong.

Thanks lancerman, no expert and thanks for the posts. Wasn’t meant to be a negative as which ever way the no. of options will be factored in against offer amount minus fees etc.
Form 2.9 is only applicable in a fsp to my knowledge, last night it was mentioned so looked at a number of companies on the disclosure table and they have multiple 2.9’s logged everytime no. of shares in circulation changes.
EUA seem to be the oddity only having the one.
Always good to have differing views aired to consider.
Everyday is a learning day and I am by no means an expert - probably as far from it as can be

Yes, it disclosed shares in circulation then. When options are exercised there will be more in circulation so new 2.9 required to confirm number to be used to convert offer to price per share.

I think we will know when we are even closer
The bod will exercise their options, not sure if a form 8 is required to disclose this.

Form 2.9 will however be a must imo prior to offer rns to declare new total shares in issue which will be a basis for offer sp per share.

Then hopefully offer rns.

These may all come simultaneously however if not when the 2.9/options exercised rns is released imo we will see huge buy in and sp will rise to what the market really think eua are worth prior to offer.

Could we have had the bidding war and the bod gone back and said hang on look at cost of pgm’s and come back with revised final offers. One way or the other there most be a drop dead date as imo the process can not just go on and on.
