Kids, more hassle than any share buying.

Initially we had the A level saga with our daughter, thankfully all sorted in the end. She’s now been offered a place at Liverpool Uni next year, she’s delighted. The only thing I don’t understand is she’s resitting maths as she would like an A instead of the awarded B, I can say with absolute certainty that’s not something I would be doing, especially as it’s not needed. Still I admire her determination.

Now we have the eldest boy, 21, left school, went straight into the oil and gas sector left after 18 months, I think he was badly affected when 2 of his work colleagues fell off the rig and died. He then left home, got a job in Manchester, installing industrial boilers. His boss, someone I know personally came into work recently knowing he probably had the virus, his wife had it, and infected or possibly infected everyone, so after getting told he wouldn’t be paid for 2 weeks by his virus carrying boss, he quit, which was the right thing to do. So, when his isolation period is over, he will be returning home, best we get the fridge stocked.

I find the up’s and down’s of Eurasia therapeutic compared to being a parent lol

Maybe non-binding offers were in by then or requested then.

General question - understand what it is but just wondering why some days we have one and others not. Surely the same mechanics are present each day to force a UT at close but obviously not .Judging by how active the last 5mins was I would have thought a UT/closing auction would have been nailed on today

Update on formal sale process 14th January
‘Since launching the Formal Sale Process on 1 July 2020, Eurasia and its advisers have engaged with a wide range of parties, and have to date received non-binding offers in respect of both a possible acquisition of the Company as well as other transaction structures.’
Seems to me that 1 month from the 2.9 announcement and the official offer period commencing all non-binding offers were in. Delayed by 2 weeks due to
‘Progress to date has been slower than expected reflecting the complexity of the process, involving several parties and structures, as well as external factors including COVID-19 related travel restrictions, and more recently delays resulting from western and Russian holiday periods’
So EUA gave 1 month for all binding offers to be in IMO

So Binding offers
4 weeks for non-binding would suggest maximum 8 weeks for final binding offers. 12 week process in total
12 weeks from the 2nd December takes us to 24th February

We must be so close – NN were and I believe still are the favourites and would not be surprised if we get an announcement prior to their financial results conference call on Tuesday 16th. Of interest too is that a virtual NDR was put onto NN calendar of events last week for the 16-17th February. I believe these are calls with shareholders and analyst to discuss news/results

Not sure for the reason behind this but may be part of establishing non-binding offers firming up the data room

Perhaps the nn token is a vehicle for Tesla to pay nn in some kind of jv on their side.

I believe there would have been initial non-binding offers on the table from 1st July and may be before. These have probably change, more entered into the affray but EUA were approached.
The delays I believe are in paper work from lawyers/licenses and visits to sure up what has been said is in the ground is in the ground.
Dimitry will be fighting for a quick conclusion as IMO he is loosing out on digital currency and the project he had lined up. Amazon are now thought to be looking into digital currency.

I do wonder why AC is still on the EUA web site as part of the team if he has not been an advisor for sometime as per the RNS. Probably been overlooked but should have been updated months ago when he ceased to be an advisor but definitely after the rns.
