" My advice would be to wait until we have better tests which will be available in a similar form very soon ,though they are still under evaluation at the moment". That was on Friday.
I think its time we had an update .LR can't say to Banker on the 30th April news soon or news imminent and now over 3weeks later nothing. If you don't mean it don't say it !
Yes -report by Tom Parameter re Roche lab test ,but he did end by saying the finger prick test is in the pipeline. I don't know whether that is us or the principal is being attempt by many companies!
It would be nice if we could have an RNS that EUZ are in talks with a view to the sale of Torral, that may or may not lead to an offer! At least it would add some excitement!
Well with all this antibody news the government briefing tonight will be all about testing. Time for RTC to get their story out. Also we haven't heard much about the omega lab test.
The specificity side of the test is fine but its the sensitivity side that needs to improve .I think for this they would accept 98%,but for me when the government made their bullish figures on the no of daily tests they thought they would have antibody tests available. I think our lab test is around 99/98. It is about time one of the journalists at the 5pm government broadcast asks how the search for a home antibody test is progressing!!
Well the consortium test had 99.1 specificity 2-3 weeks ago but it was the sensitivity which was the problem and 95 won't be enough for our PHE either!
Well I do agree that his email response to Banker on the 30th April saying news very imminent is a bit of a joke .If no news today the earliest it can be is the 11 may!!
Come on PHE time to validate the ELISA lab test and then we can here about the longer term agreement between Omega and Mologic to commercialise it. Then its all about the POC Elisa test.
