By my calculations, the hole should be about 1000m by now - with about 700m of mineralisation,

As the original target depth was 775m and no mineralisation will have been expected before around 400m ( like for hole 2), then I reckon that they were expecting to hit up to 350m of mineralisation.

So we could already have doubled our expectations?

JR has now had plenty of time to get his feet under the table and with relative youth and his experience in base metal production I would think that he will be asked to take over the reigns of one or two of our projects so as to get them moving.

The potential income from those tailings dumps in Kalengwa just gets better and better - if I were CB I would certainly be fast-tracking production there.

I think that the market has a general blackout when confronted with porphyries. All the great finds were initially met with a rather lacklustre response in the market - hence all the promotional videos that basically say " come on, guys - just wise-up to what we have found here!"

I guess we are in the same boat at the moment, except that some have learnt from past experiences, but many are still thinking about it...

80p sounds great, Andrew - but to be honest I will be over the moon with just a quarter of that.

Assuming there will (hopefully) be no RNS today- and it is certainly beginning to look that way, then, barring a miracle, there will be one on Monday, by which time there will have been between 8 and 10 days continuous drilling through significant mineralisation. So by Monday we could have anywhere between 550 and 700m proven-up.
Anything in that range is amazing, but the top end takes the breath away.
Who is brave enough to be out over the weekend?

Completely agree about the Sandfire deal, JDAU.

Most of the market seems to have missed the significance of it , as in the underlined value and prospectiveness of our remaining licences.

Ducks are lining up nicely IMO - even if most have left their field glasses at home so can't see it.

POC just broke $8,750 and looking strong - maybe the GS price analysis will mature ahead of their expectations?

I've been here for quite a while now, although I don't post here very often. I already have a stake here of well over 1% of the company, but I still buy on the dips. There are some that doubt the potential here can be achieved, but I have never heard CB being so bullish about GLR - he has well over £10M invested here and he is far too experienced in the industry to lose his cash IMO.
Let the sellers sell - that is their right, and it just might make a bit of extra cash for those of us that are still accumulating...

What do we know so far?
When compared to December 2017 when the AA sale was agreed:
POC is over 30% higher
POG id 30% higher and we know that gold grades increase with depth.
Depth of Porphyry is about 50% deeper
Length of Porphyry is over 50% longer
Width of Porphyry - ??? - we should know in the next few days.
-And some posters are pessimistic?
Happy for people to add to the list and to be corrected if I got it wrong.

Only reason for continuing past planned depth would be continued mineralisation. We know that we will be told if drilling is stopped or delayed. So whilst ot is often the case that no news is bad news that is certainly not the case here...

Going into the 7th day of drilling, what may prove to be , the most important hole so far, I could not resist topping up with another 100k shares.
