Completely agree with you. It's quite wrong to suggest, as NL has done, that IMM has broken all links with CNRS. Yes, the Management Team, ie the BOD, is now composed of managers. But the IMM Scientific Team is 100% composed of CNRS Research Directors. Surely a case of round pegs and round holes, square pegs and square holes.
Some people like to muddy the waters.

Why don't you give your own opinion on this and then let others respond?
This is typical of your gnomic/Delphic comments which raise doubts but convey nothing of concrete value to our knowledge of IMM's prospects.

Your speculation is imo total rubbish. I do not see how the announced Board changes give any credence to the idea of splitting the intellectual assets of IMM and Ureka as you suggest.
Most companies go through phases where the early leaders are ousted or agree to hand over to successors who may lack intellectual flair but have the experience, financial expertise and administrative ability to advance a company to a higher level of activity.
So with IMM. It has in the three departing directors people who were strong on science but probably less able when it came to organising finance, collaborations with other companies and the hard graft of commercialising scientific breakthroughs.
My only doubt about the Board changes is about Tim McCarthy's ability to fill the role of CEO.
I fear that Nolupus has no real interest in the success of IMM and its leading drug, Lupuzor.

Mistake by Research Tree. Today's RNS concerned Immutep - IMM-AU.
Perhaps the turn of the real IMM tomorrow.

Can you supply a link to the transcript of his full remarks and those of Franklin also? I can't find them on the IMM website.

I think the answer to your question of why you think Nolupus has a fondness for quicksand lies in his pseudonym. I think he believes that Lupus is not a disease with a single causal fa for which an cure will be eventually discovered. Instead, I think he holds the plausible view that Lupus is a syndrome which consists of different causal factors that make the person's immune system turn in upon itself and attack healthy organs of the body causing severe inflammation which may be fatal. There is not necessarily any single cure for this because although the symptoms are similar their origins are different.
Probably the most we can hope for at present is various therapeutic treatments like steroids which reduce the harmful symptoms such as excessive inflammation.
So Lupuzor may turn out to ineffective against many of the symptoms that carry the Lupus label but effective against others because they have a different causal origin.
That is why Nolupus has always seemed to be a Cassandra figure and perhaps he will be justified in the end.
I hope not!

I'm in same position as you. Have given up averaging down. A mug's game? Kind of given up hope. But hanging on for a favourable FDA agreement for Phase 3 and other positive news on the IMM pipeline.

Thanks for the link. V interesting. If these immunologists are correct we are entering a post Covid-19 environment where IMM's therapeutic drugs have an important role if they are as effective as IMM's scientists claim.

We can manage without Eva. Who do we need? Tim no 1 and Tim no 2 to provide us with news/progress reports about IMM's pipeline.

I agree - the current sp represents a realistic risk/reward level for IMM. It is interesting that there is support for the 9p level despite the lack of news from the Board. I guess that many investors like me are banking on a positive response from FDA in this quarter to the PK info from IMM that they requested.

40p would signal failure. What is the hurry to sell the company? The costs of the Phase 3 trial will be covered by Avion and there are several drugs in the IMM pipeline due to come to market in late 2022 and 2023 with funding assured for a further 2 years.
I doubt if Dr Zimmer would accept such a low price.

I don't know why Nolupus and others have not quoted the estimate for completion of the Lupuzor Phase 3 trial provided by the COO, Tim Franklin, in his presentation to the US Biotech Showcase in January 2021, namely 2H 2022. Surely he knows more about it than any of the "experts" on this BB, doesn't he?

So many large sells and so few buys. Yet the sp remains strong. I don't understand what's going on.

I guess I must qualify as the stupidest investor on the BB to have paid such a high average price (44p) for my IMM shares over the past decade.

I'll be sorry to see you leave when the SP reaches 12.5p. You have invested very perspicaciously to have achieved such a low average investing price. To achieve that, I need a price of more than three times higher, so if I want to at least breakeven I have to stick around a lot longer.
In fact, if the news is good enough to justify that higher breakeven level, I'll stick around longer 'cos I have a deep conviction that Lupuzor will be the answer to the prayers of Lupus victims.

Unlikely to be news until May, or late April if luck is with us. Plenty of time to wait and see how much lower the SP will go.

I've looked again at these 2 large buys/sells. Their transaction price was higher than the nearest buys both before and after they went through so I can't see them as sells.
