NASDAQ closes early today at 2pm their time ,it will be interesting to see where it ends before tomorrows break.
Just 4 cents short of $6 .today $1= .76 p ---so 6 x .76p=$4.56 divide by 8 ?=57p per share equivalent .
Please check my maths and understanding of the x8 factor. any corrections welcome . I am a very LTH and have faith in this Drug .Let us see what 2020 brings , ever optimistic . Good new year to all.as we say up here
When opened the link is dated Oct and ,shows just over 59% of shares held by those shown on list and ME is not showing as holding 3% or more.at that time. It would be helpful to see an up dated list to see what the situation is now and which Directors is now included and supporting the company at this time with a cash investment
Well at long last we have an RNS--let us hope that an acceptable bid is forth coming before the cash flow runs out , because that is the crux of this process---unfortunately time is not on our side. only time will tell- Merry Christmas to all
According to the fundamental notice here it is showing ten times as many purchases as sales, not a huge amount of money I acknowledge . Pure speculation, but may be this
week end we stop being treated as mushrooms and read an informative RNS , would that be to much to ask ? it is the season of good will after all
Some one last week suggested a single Bid might have been made, implying that it was not high enough for Bod so they had brought in an Adviser. I knew of a similar situation where that BoD rejected a bid , Bidder then did further due diligence search and reduced the bid which caused that company`s bank to foreclose, the result of which the Bidder bought it off the bank for peanuts. Nanoco only has limited time due to insufficient cash flow some thing always has to give in a fire sale.
I just hope this Bod did not refuse a bid from Apple in the hope of more else where, Apple would be only valuing parts which they wanted . Hubris can be the Nemesis of many a CoE .As a small share holder of old, I sincerely hope I am wrong but with lack of RNS conjecture reigns
Evercore are a top USA firm however they are based in USA ,different regulations may apply ?? ?also there will be a time lag if news broke after 4.30 pm UK time , as New York is still open how might that effect UK private investors ??
any ideas out their or am I tilting at wind mills?
RNS NOTICES quite active , I wonder if they mean that the "ducks" are being put in place ready for an announcement of a Bid.
I am watching for late in the day Buying on a Friday followed by an statement at week end, but I do not know how or where exercising options would show up ???, I have no opinion on a possible bid price as It is, to all intents and purposes a Forced sale due to lack of enough foreseeable income stream. Luckily I have cleared my losses and am leaving a small affordable Punt. So sad to see so much potential not being exploited , but R and D always takes much longer than forecasts predict.
Compliments of the season to all
I am a very long term invested here and only managed to salvage and make a profit, at long last, when the slump to 6p
and the bounce after. Yes this is an opaque procedure , what else to expect from some one who sold a very large tranche of shares just 3 weeks ? before the slump, the only certainty in this sorry state of
affairs is that what ever offer is presented to Share holders it will be the best one as seen by ME based on ALL aspects not just price alone.
I still believe however that there is a long term future for our very diverse products if only the company was better at marketing them.
I make no prediction on the final offer price accepted but I am sure there will be professional investors getting there ducks all lined up before we know the final offer.
Thank you, I will ask them why not.
Does any one out there know if this company makes High density card board Coat hangers for the Hotel trade.
Should be profitable line ?
Plastic ones are very environment non friendly, I have just seen article on cost to that Industry.
Congratulations on a brilliant resume, I fully agree with every word and sentiment expressed.
Never in my life .I am 81 ,have I seen so much dishonesty being broardcast and written in the Media and by Politicians .Thank you
Could it be that the sheer size of Aviva`s capital and reserves means that it is difficult for Market manipulators to do just that ?? are there smaller fish to catch and manipulate?
after all the Stock Market is a market after all is said and done.and it would need a large amount of buying and selling power to shift the price , also with those reserves bad news would have to be very bad indeed to have any creditability. IMHO.
As a long term holder I have just added with all my spare cash at £3.618 and I am trying to come up with a line for Aviva to match the one
re Royal Dutch Shell ie" Never sell royal Dutch Shell." Just hope that purchase was an opportunity of a life time.
To all , thank you for all your most informative posts
Re £550 in 2020, Well I see the net asset value alone is £360.81 . I would suggest £450 in 2020
is a reasonable possibility ??, I have posted before that I bought in at the beginning , got out just below £6 and came back in at £2.08 before latest dividend, and I intend to keep to same very low key " trading" idea, if you can call that trading , as this is such an institution,
Re B the B wed 21.36.
Brilliant resume of the situation with Nanoco, I am 81 and have been invested from the start I luckily took advantage of the recent "bounce " too average right down ,I now intend to transfer
all my shares to my 3 grand children, this I M O is a long term hold as far as income stream but with a high chance of capital increase some where down ,the line best wishes to all
