Thankyou Hanno20 Mar 2019 17:17
I would like to think that Hanno read my LSE post of 1st February this year - "Hanno - not sure if you read this BB, but if you do, please can you delay JDA RNS till April 6th, so I can tuck some more NCCL into my ISA. Appreciated.".
As a result of the slight delay, I will be scooping up another £40k of NCCL into my ISAs in April, taking me to circa 3 million shares. As I've mentioned in previous posts, I have 25+ years of managing mega scale energy projects in Africa and Latin America, for a few different super major corporations. I have managed projects, JV partners and government relations (ie, everything that NCCL is about). In my experience, projects of NCCL scale, I typically expect 2-3 year delays as the norm - no sweat, nothing to worry about. More than 3 years delay - I get worried. Less than 2 years delay is big slap on the back and bumper salary bonus. I had to laugh at some posts earlier today griping about nine months delay - sounds like those people are either traders and / or don't understand the business.
To quote Churchill - "The definition of an idiot, is someone who takes advise from those lacking relevant experience", ie, only invest in what you personally fully understand, and ignore those posters lacking relevant experience. My hunch is that not many NCCL posters on LSE and Twitter have worked on the ground in Africa on a project such as this.
Hanno - the April delay is much appreciated.
