Dr T, would I want him back?
He is undoubtedly an expert in his field and I was reassured by his knowledge and demeanour to commit funds to HUR well beyond what would be considered sensible (greed being a big part of it).
I should have become concerned after what was to become Dr T's last AGM (I think it was) when he became very agitated and aggressive towards some hard questioning during Q&A. Certainly as the share price tanked very soon after and our departed friend Adoubleuk exited at around 8 pence I should have followed, but didn't even then.
So as much as I'd like to see Dr T's expertise here I wouldn't want him to have the swathing powers that he enjoyed before and I doubt whether his ego would allow it anyway.

This was Dr Trice's baby which was snatched away from him in pretty short order. When he left the company, would he have been tied with a non disclosure agreement, or could he have taken his evidence and experience of Lancaster/Lincoln to RB and CA and convinced them that there is a lot more oil in L&L than the last CPR would indicate?

Those figures look far more sensible than was being muted by Maris, to call his figures conservative would be a gross understatement

I personally doubt CA are interested in buying HUR themselves, they have their own separate issues going on, not least of all slowly winding up their businesses over the next two odd years. But a thought that has crossed my mind is that they have maneuvered themselves very close to, but not above the 30% trigger point, could they hold that large percentage of the company for someone else to swoop in at a predetermined (low offer) price?

11/06 2021: Lancaster Field Update
Hurricane Energy plc, the UK based oil and gas company, provides an update on Lancaster field operations.

On 10 June 2021, the Company announced that the electric submersible pump ("ESP") in the 205/21a-6 ("P6") well had tripped on 8 June 2021, causing the well to be temporarily shut in on precautionary grounds prior to restarting the well on natural flow while the cause of the trip was investigated.

While these investigations continue and ahead of an attempt to restart the P6 well ESP, the Company has decided to maintain the P6 well on natural flow at a rate of 9,000 - 11,000 bopd subject to surface conditions and settings in order to fulfil the minimum lifting quantity for the next Lancaster lifting which is scheduled for the week commencing 14 June 2021. Further updates will be given in due course.

I've been here a very long time (please don't ask my average if you don't want to see a grown man cry), I seem to remember that when this deal was initially struck that we (as shareholders) were just delighted to be told we would be getting close to Brent prices for our off loads

Hi Mr Wilks, I hate to appear contrary but I would have thought $3m per week (net profit) is more realistic, with nine weeks between off takes.
I'm more in Goldens camp re figures although still think February a tad optimistic........we'll see....and I'll be "**** a hoop" if either of you are right.

I hope you don't mind me adding my two penneth worth, but I think the following weekend more likely (in my view). Based on recent previous loads (approx 550k barrels) and say an average of 9.5k barrels a day, we get 58 days from the last lift 30th November ish.
