Get a life mystic meg, why do you feel the need to insert yourself into others conversations? Are you insecure? Attention seeking? Which ever it is.. I don't have any desire for your childish passive aggressive nonsense
Assuming you are either in a transcendental trance or you just have nothing useful to contribute, when that happens to me I just shut up, you could try it too
A) he's not a person who consults a cat, he is a cat.
B) your handle is Mystic.. clearly will be ignoring anything you have to say
Hey Nettles, you suggested a Barclays rebate this week, any news on when that might land?
It's jumped from an artificially low base due to COVID, it has reached a pre-pandemic value and so jumps aren't going to be as large. You need to be more realistic not just about RR. but all share trading. Personally I realised that like the 2008 financial crisis buying when all others run for the exit has huge potential but it doesn't last, it subsides naturally and that when you have to be even smarter and considered in your stock picks
Thanks Rowaboat!
There's a piece in the Times that looks to somewhat confirm progress towards an SMR fleet for the UK.. if anyone subscribes to the Times can have a read and drop us a summary that would be great!
I think that earnings season has been generally positive for engineering companies and finance sector so I am working on the principle that investors will be feeling good and the doom and gloom is starting to recede..
So sign me up for a 3.59 COP on the 22nd!
Lol, it does make me laugh, as they where crying into their cornflakes I was scraping together every spare penny and buying more!
Fantastic jump this morning. Have a great day 👊
I for one see every drop as an opportunity to buy more.. I went a little early at 3.10 but personally confident for the long term prospects
There will be the usual churn of non-believers selling up and opening the door to those that want to jump on board or top up.. I agree with the broad consensus that Tifan will be holding aces up his sleeve and the SP will go higher. We should end up with a re-rating to make investment grade that will probably be a major driver.. IMHO DYOR
My RR. Investment has grown to be almost sufficient to pay off the mortgage and frankly that creates a sense of comfort knowing I have one less burden to worry about after 25 years of paying successive mortgages.
It would require me to liquidate my entire portfolio so I'm not going to do that, my mortgage deal expires in Nov 25 so I will keep paying the mortgage until then at the very least and hope that my returns grow too.
My aim is to watch one go down and the other up and to see clear blue water between the two. The adage of, it takes money to make money is so true; so I will try and keep and build the investment pot as much as possible. I want to be in a position to ride the cyclical boom and bust as I managed this time for a velvet retirement.
What you talking about willis?
Don't you just hate it when you just get paid with the intention of throwing more cash into your ISA to buy RR. shares and the price jumps before you get the chance!!!
SMR shortlist announcement on the 16th - I think it will inevitably be good news, can't see RR. being dropped out of the competition.
Full year results on the 22nd, again suspect it will be towards the top end of guidance, if not slightly in excess due to strong flying hours. I also suspect that the "big order" teased by Turfan will come with it. plus news on debt reduction and dividend.
So all in all, I see a bump in ratings to investment grade and a share price rally beyond £3.40 roughly a 10% bump on todays SP
Yes, went through all it's post this morning and diligently reported them all, you gotta hand it to the admins.. they do act on it very quickly, leaving us to the highs and lows of our favourite share..
Any thoughts on SP post Feb 22nd close?
In case peep's hadn't noticed inflation is not following a wholly downward trajectory, some EU countries and the US are seeing blips that will likely delay interest rates falling and with that limit consumer demand.
That's the principle reason for today's lackluster performance almost across the board.. RR. fundamentals remain strong and intrinsic value is there to go far higher.. you just have to patient..
As they say dyor
