I agree Pepco the election is on Monday, if the Croc wins (which I expect) the new policy will be put in place and we should here about Marange after that - I should think we will hear something in August - maybe not directly from the ZimGov but probably progress on the SPV with BOD.
I think we will know in the next few months as we are running up to production from BPPM.
We have much to look forward to.

buko warrants will be exercised as the s/p goes up - cash for VAST £2mil will come in handy! and it is minimal dilution. Once BPPM licence comes VAST will seriously take off.

Hopper - good to have you on the BB, AP does read the BB BTW and cares about his shareholders opinions as all good CEO's should. It is after all who he works for is it not!

IMO you are correct Virtual - the current MC is around £34 mil BP alone is worth $100 mil and we have so much more - but the shareholders have been let down in the past for many reasons so there is -ve sentiment and the delays with the BPPM licence have also added to that.
When we get the licence it will not only bring BPPM on line but add value to the other projects (which the market has totally ignored) and I can see considerable upside beyond the licence value.

It is not just the fact we will be able to mine BPPM it is the doors that opens up that will give the real rise in the s/p

Probably a forced seller due to the new rules on collateral - anyway now it's old news let's look forward to the licence - no comment from the company so we assume all is going ahead as stated - patience!

Pepco - I believe we have a serious chance of getting a percentage of the Marange diamond field and other prospective diamond deposits in Zim.

I also strongly believe once we get the BP licence association we will get involved in some way with the Remin mines in Rom.

There are gold/copper/multi metallic assets available in Zim and Rom, we have the finances available to exploit these.

V111 mid cap could take a few years (or never) - if we get Marange MC of $500 mil will potentially happen over night (depending on deal) - if we get Marange and Remin+other assets we could have a $1bn + MC in a couple of years.

The Remin mines are large $300 mil + MC each, so 5 of those - the targets = $1.5bn.

These are the reasons I am invested in VAST, all the info is available via RNS/podcast.

Whether BP licence association happens Monday or in a couple of weeks time makes no odds to me, myself and many others have been waiting since December 2014 for this.
OK it is clearly not early July but it is on it's way, we should be mining BPPM this year, that's a $60mil mine AP bought us for around $5 mil - it's worth the wait IMO.
Loads of other news due in the next few months - little more patience is required to make some serious cash out of this company.

Sardy, I feel it will happen soon - after the election (which I expect Mnangagwa to win) things will open up - not just my opinion, but those who know.

They will have to give up control on movement of currency (or at least make it freer) to enable the Zim economy to grow, we will be able to get cash out of Zim and IMO this will happen soon, hand in hand with the revival of the economy.

I have asked AP about the new plant at manaila and he did say it would make manaila a decently profitable mine without the new processing plant at Lacobenni. This is due to increase in production at the mine and reduced costs for diesel. The new earth movers are massive the are doing a factor of around (say) 10 less round trips up and down the mine, so it is much more efficient.
He did say around 3 times more profitable with the new diggers etc. than without.

supergar - AP said the new plant will make Manaila a few times more profitable - presumably they won't know for certain until the plant is delivered and in use.
AP also stated he will not draw down tranche 2 from Mercuria until we have the BP licence association - this is presumably added insurance that we can pay the debt easily.
Both mines together should shift it in less than half the time.

VAST is looking very good right now, but please do not get carried away.
Once the sub licence for BPPM is acquired there will be a few months until production starts.
There are so many positives about VAST right now but the market is fickle and traders are all over this.
I expect a strong performance this year but it will come over time unless we get Marange back - then we will all be loaded ;-)

The warrants are collateral against the debt for the offtake from Mercuria - they will not be required at the point the debt is paid off. There is further debt funding via offtake this month to pay for the plant at Lacobeni which will greatly increase the profitability of the Manaila mine. This debt will be paid off by the existing offtake agreement. The recent placing which was partly made to lease plant at Manaila will ensure this debt is paid off sooner than originally projected IMO.
This is all good but the warrants will be in place until Mercuria are paid via the offtake agreement.

I agree Pepco - but AP has had many things to deal with and IMO has always given his honest opinion.
It should be granted soon though and we will get mining this year if it is.
