Nb. Marange Diamonds Limited and Marange Resources Ltd and ZimGov owned Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Company - how many clues do we need?

ANRM are different than the ministry - the delays were to do with negotiating the final deal and agreeing it with the 3 parties VAST/Baita SA/RomGov. ANRM are just checking the fact VAST are capable of running the mine and the agreement falls within the mining law.
This is a technical exercise and not political so should not take too long, as I keep mentioning they have granted us licences in the past.

The public holiday is only Wednesday - some employees take a day or two afterwards but there is no reason why ANRM are not working today and tomorrow.

As Sandy says they officially have 30 days to deal with the approval, but will probably take less time.

That is my understanding Mustang - the minister has greed it, ANRM just approve the association technically - they have granted us several licences previously so there should be no problem IMO.

KP it's one day public hols next Wednesday, presumably they take a day afterwards, but not too bad.

Please do not email the RomGov or ANRM - we had this a couple of years ago and were warned by AP not to do so as it will do more harm than good.
Do we really want to potentially cause damage at this late stage?

B - I should think AP is in Rom working hard to get the many projects moving forward, Brandon Hill (in London) publish a note after every significant RNS, he was clearly not aware of the contents, but he cannot micro manage every aspect of the company and nor should he, as he has bigger fish to fry.

The best way of having a discussion directly with AP is probably going to an investor event, he seems very willing to discuss any non price sensitive subject his shareholders are interested in.

I agree there is little chance of getting a reply from the company email address I tried that 4 years ago! - it's the same with most AIM co's in my experience.

No he did not say anything about the licence

DG1 Both Roy and now Andrew have been reasonable when I have contacted them and certainly it helps clear up misunderstandings like the broker note in my mind - I thought it was odd that AP said last week soon yet the note said probably September.

I just wanted clarification that AP's opinion was the same as he stated last week and it was.

FYI - I contacted AP this morning and he confirmed he had no input on the broker note and was not aware of it's contents until published.

So the September date was certainly not AP's idea.

SmallCapper - the ANRM signoff is the final stage as Dodge says - they are not even issuing a new licence it is just to approve VAST to mine BPPM under the existing exploitation licence Baita SA hold.

Morning NH - could be any day from last Tuesday, so could be September.

However AP said very soon a week last Monday, He knew it had to go to ANRM then so presumably he assumes ANRM are not going to take full legal term or he wouldn't have said very close as that is 30 working days (the minimum I believe is 2)

So it's guess time again - my guess sometime next week, but after all the delays so far, I couldn't disagree September is a reasonable possibility.

I am not really bothered the BPPM licence is the start for me, not the end. All the big things in Rom Will probably happen after it is granted, all the big things in Zim are independent and could happen at any time, the ZimGov are about to issue the new mining policy and that will affect our historical claims (as AP has mentioned so often in recent RNS/podcasts).

ORT broker notes mean F all - we all know that, it's just the timescale of the BP licence association that has caused controversy over this, after the RNS which IMO was unnecessary - AP updated us 4 days before it on the podcasts.
