Sandy/grumpy - the point is "IF" we get Marange whether you buy at .6p or a penny matters little, you will still make a fortune

You cannot short VAST! - you need an II to borrow the shs from we have non invested in VAST the MC is too small

The point I am making is that no one is short on VAST it's not worth it - OK MM's will be short or long depending on the market at the time but there is no one holding the s/p down apart from traders and the MM's

Sorry watcher yes I think you can short via SB that's correct but I haven't found a CFD that you could - but that is not going to short the stock and has no real effect

MM's can short anything NH - but really why would anyone short VAST if we get licence or Marange they would be seriously stuffed - it's a myth and there are much easier less risky targets

Looks like the placing went to a single HNW. If a broker had done the placing it would have been mentioned as in the last placing RNS.

If they had flipped them it would be at a loss - what is the point?

NH - you cannot short VAST IMO MC too small.

Just traders and history of delays with the BP licence - I am personally highly confident the licence will come soon and we have a decent chance of acquiring the diamond field - if we get both 5p+

I think investors are too hung up on BPPM but that's the situation we are in IMO.

All the hurdles bar one have been jumped over starvest - the final hurdle is ANRM they evaluate the licence technicall to see if VAST can run the mine and they have granted us several licences, so there should be no problem.

angus the BPPM licence is a one off - all the other licences we have are "normal" Manaila/Zagra/Faneata tailings/Blueberry - there are set rules for these and hoops to jump through that are laid out in law.
It does not mean Rom isn't open for business it means they have never granted an association of a licence like this before and due to the bureaucracy of the Gov it is taking an age.

The problem is no one believes we will get the biggest diamond field in Zim in less than 2 months.

This field is potentially larger than the original Marange field - when AP said potentially "100k's to $1bn" he is playing it down - Mugabe said $15 bn of diamonds went missing from Marange 1 - our site is bigger.

angus - Marange does not need any law change to be hugely profitable IMO - it just increases profits from 49% of total to 75% - presumably AP has had some reason to mention that - so it is likely to happen or the NOMAD would not allow him to say it.

So many complaining - just look at the positives.

buko I totally disagree - referring to your points in order:

1/ - well he has got new excavators at Manaila - that is to cut costs and increase profitability

2/ - BP mining (he is trying his hardest) Manaila efficiency/profitability (the very overburden removal you are complaining about!)

3/ - Monies can be taken out of Zim read the Marange RNS part of the duedil "require dividends to be paid annually of at least 50% of profits which can be distributed lawfully and without breach of contract to third parties;"

4/- He never said "no dilution" it was always caveated for the acquisition of assets - he has given us Eureka/Blueberry/(potentially) Marange and dilution since his start of tenure 7% (inc warrant exercise) and so many projects!

5/ - Mercuria is II financing

6/ - Let's see after 12 months - he has only been in office 8 months FFS

IMO your criticism is totally unfair

Just look at what he has achieved - and look what past CEO's did - speaks for itself! 400+% dilution in less than 12 months for absolutely NOTHING!!!!!

Red - hilarious! - we are doing duedil on a $bn+ diamond field and your concerned about water at Manaila (which is news to me?)
So everyone's selling as the only thing the market is focused on is BP - diamonds could well be 100 times bigger.

We will get BP licence soon in any case but don't let the markets idiotic obsession hide the real value in VAST

NH the timescale shouldn't be more than the 30 days + public hols - it is not like the RomGov where they kept renegotiating the deal with Baita SA and us, this is just a sign off from ANRM re. technical ability of VAST to mine - we have had several licences from them already so it should be straight forward
