We will have to wait until Q2 figures 2P, but by what AP mentioned in recent podcasts it's looking good - the profits will be a lot higher with new excavators though - Manaila will be seriously profitable. If we get BPPM running this year, next year we should be making $20-30 mil per annum profit MC - £200mil is possible with all the other stuff.

The 1 trade was a special MM sign - it's a code only used between MM's (cos there special and don't have phones a bit like elves!) and it means there is an RNS due first thing tomorrow ;-) On the other hand you may think it was just the uncrossing trade (symbol UT) which just happened to be 1 share today. Take your pick!

So if you want to vote it has to be tomorrow - most brokers will take an age though so it's probably too late. Should get passed IMO

As I said a few days ago looks like there is an II selling, (confirmed by the holding RNS yesterday) the s/p didn't drop 50% on the RNS of 14 june, which was not really that bad, looks like the s/p hit a level where buyers are picking up the seller's shs - or they are finished - hopefully the s/p will recover from here but that depends on the seller. Forget all the deramping/ramping crap it has little effect - an II dumpig does!

Theoretically the company should be managed with the shareholders interests as a priority. I know on AIM that is not (cough!) always the case but good for the company should mean good for the shareholders.

I agree with your emotions Sardy, but it's better for us to give the BoD the headroom looking at it logically. They want the headroom as insurance, we know AP's views on dilution and it won't be used unless it is beneficial to the company, we are in this position due to the RomGov delay (against their own laid out timescales!), not the BoD's poor management (this time!). Voting against the resolutions is biting your nose to spite your face IMO.

2P - you have to bear in mind AP and RT are part of AP Group that owns 20% of BPPM - they are incentivised to deliver the licence. AP owns shs in VAST also and he paid over a penny I believe. The current situation is not caused by lack of ambition or work on AP's behalf as he never stops, it's admin delays with the RomGov. I am as frustrated as anyone - how they can delay by 6 months is intolerable but hey ho they have! One day it will come......

Ome it may go to zero, but with nearly £18 mil in the bank it won't be any time soon. I thought today's RNS was pretty encouraging - the drug works, they just need to learn more about delivering ti to patients so they respond. I doubt the drop today was purely due to the RNS - looked like an II reducing it's exposure to me, nothing is certain but I expect a bounce back after the seller clears. If they do have £18 mil in the bank the cash value alone prices the shares at 58p so then the rest of the company is worth £6.8 mil based on an s/p of 80p - there is value at this s/p IMO

Bat I think everyone is as annoyed about this placing as you, but it makes sense to do it at a higher s/p, once we have the BPPM licence to make the company more profitable in the long run - it is not going to be wasted money, it will generate growth in the s/p in the future.

Bat, what coffers? the Mercuria offtake is for Manaila processing plant not excavators, it's not a lot of cash/dilution for a large increase in production.

Thing is though Bat -the funds will increase profits at Manaila - it makes sense to get the excavators and increase producrion

I was as fed up about yesterday's RNS as anybody - I see all you guys points and I agree to an extent, but I do not think it fundamentally changed anything GLA

buko as I understand it the dewatering costs were not taken over from the day VAST acquired BPPM - Baita SA were responsible until a couple of years ago and that is the reason for the payment of the $.6 mil that is held in escrow until the licence association is acquired
