Apart from market sentiment it won't affect VAST hopefully - I am sure it will work out in the end no matter what happens UK is so interlinked with Europe. Looks like it may get a bit messy before it's resolved though.

I agree with you Pepco - again it is the market not understanding our assets - if people knew the Russian system was good they would understand. It's not too difficult to convert to JORC if you have the original cores that were taken, but if you don't it involves a bit of evidence gathering and extra drilling presumably?

Pepco, that may be what people think but the Russian system of ore estimation is probably as good or better than JORC - they actually built tunnels and shafts to test the ore at depth as well as soil and drill sampling.

I recall the plan was to start mining BP and then do some more exploration and convert to a JORC estimate, though I suppose that may have changed.

I know we do not need JORC standard estimates for Zagra to progress the licence with ANRM, as they do not seem to recognise it - it is after all an Australian standard

I think Giant will be on the list after Eureka is up and running - though to be honest I think there will be other mines to acquire in Zim which we will have total controlling interest in that will be on line sooner

I am not sure Bezzy - this appears to be about general licence speculation and people holding them and not doing anything with them, unlikely diamond licences around Marange are involved as they take little investment for the rewards on offer.

I believe there are other heritage diamond concessions and who knows VAST may be approached to mine them if our current concession works out?

Mining claims have to be used or are lost by end of 2018 - this could be great for VAST - loads of cheap claims for sale!

I Think that a large part of the 850 mil headroom is lined up for an II - any large entity buying in would want 10% ish and probably a BoD position.

II's don't usually invest by buying on the open market if we get one it will be via a large placing - if they get all resolutions past at the AGM this will be possible

Well it gives us a free from placing period to get the s/p up - we know they have the cash now, I am expecting some further good news for/after the AGM

IMO the deal looks to be setup for a 75/25 split and will be signed when the ZimGov get round to dealing with the policy or agree it on a one off basis for our concession.

There is also a clause stating that 50% of profits have to be distributed annually - presumably this is to stop us just keeping profits within the SPV and to ensure the local people are paid - this will be good for VAST as well as we will be guaranteed divs from Marange up to VAST topco from the SPV.

Zim is desperate for investment and we have the ability to provide some of it.

Andrew is off to Zim next week and he is quote "putting some things to bed" - we may get a surprise or two!
