I agree Julian - looking very good either way, it's fun speculating and who knows?

If they want to attract foreign investment it makes sense to have a western/UK and an Asian/China based entity as 2 of the 4 companies allowed to mine and JV with others.

VAST has invested more in mining exploration than any other entity in the last 15 years in Zim I belive AP said - we have paid our dues!

I understand your points poiu, but AP has been doing a lot in Zim over the past year - the other point I would make is that AP is Romanian and Romania is an ally of Zimbabwe going back many years - they speak Romanian, the Romanians trained the armed forces before China was interested - Mnangagwa called in to see the Rom President on his way back from Davos etc. he ran the army.

VAST has recruited some big hitting people in the mining industry and we have the Marange MOU worth Red Mercury.

I am looking forward to see what unfolds in the next few days and I would not underestimate our chances of being one of the 4.

IMO this is why we agreed minimum of 25% to Red Mercury. It looks possible our ~J~V could get 75% if we make the correct submissions to ZCDC

If you DYOR you will see there are potentially many diamond fields in Zim

It si not just Marange - it is the whole of Zim and we have the best joint database of Zim diamond fields on the planet (probably)

The fact AP was on stage at the conference in London last week with the Zim mining minister says a lot. The fact AP has secured the services of several of the top diamond mining guys in Zim also says a lot, add in that Tweet from the ZimGov and we could be in the line for more concessions like the Red Mercury one.

I doubt Red Mercury will be the company exploring and mining diamonds - it is a company held by a community trust that owns a diamond field - but no expertise in mining. I think you probably need to look at a couple of company's closer to you - very close hopefully!
