@JC68 1.7bn shares. The demand isn't strong enough to shift the sp. Look at the 5 year chart, this was at £10 a share once, can you imagine the skill it took to get it to 37p??? August is make-or-break but I'm hoping for PE to come along before then... not least to the nature of the contracts that cpi has.

eatstocks post 10:06 is clear. I also think that a good August update is crucial or it'll be more of the same sp at the least.

I'm actually looking forward to the next couple of days to see what happens next. I suspect that we're all looking towards August, so nothing has changed in that respect. But I do find today's squeeze on the sp surprising given the lack of news and the volume traded. So, still looking to August and happy to watch events as they unfold. I still hold the view that the sp could spontaneously shift upward without notice, more so on good unexpected news.

I'm sure we've all been there. We demanded an update and they eventually gave us it and it was quite good. But I think it's like MLF say's. I am now wondering whether soon to get some news.

Possibly dip below 38p today. The demand just isn't there yet. I suspect that cheap shares are being drip-fed into the market too, which helps the shorts close out.

My speculation: my understanding of 0.45% short is that it equates to a short position of over 300k shares(?) If that is correct, I don't want to be sat here for all eternity waiting for such positions to close at these ridiculous prices. If that is what is happening, supply is still outstripping demand for the shares hence the sp. I suspect that the sp may possibly rise with some more pr by ir. GLA.

CPI could go 50p at any moment within seconds. I doubt we'll need to wait until August.

If a take over bid was made, at what price would we say 'yes'?

Website is a fountain of info. Look under financial calendar. Half-year ends 30th June, Half-year trading update 15th July. So it should be 15th July.

If it comes, the big swing upward, will be on the back of H2 results. We know H1 will be flat. Hopefully the debt will be reduced and the business streamlined.

Indeed I did. I called out my 'duds' in my set time frame for spinning a profit whilst pointing out what I could have made more profit on. However, cpi have now demonstrably provided a credible and tangible example of a proactive approach to elevating the prospects of the company beyond what they appeared to be before the rns. The rns did not supply us with crap.

I'm going by their website by looking at the fleet they have and availability.
