I’m going to be laughing my head off if red deer strikes commercial oil next week. I think I’m the only one who is optimistic here and it is based on the info provided in the presentation

Why is the expectation that Red Deer is dry ? Even Malcy during his interview said 'it may very well be.' Well it may very also contain oil. It is in block XX. Look at the geo traits ! It's not done yet. It is in a good location and is not a wild cat.

Got to agree that when things do go well, they can be transformational and unforgettable. Red deer cannot be written off. I think the cos is around the 30% mark. Aaog’s vanji well was around 20% cos but still struck oil. It was based on the fact it was in a good location. If I am not mistaken so is red deer !

Red deer is not deemed to be a failure. If that were the case it would not be drilled to begin with. I’m keeping my hopes up on red deer. Let’s talk next Monday or next week when the results are out !!!

It's pretty clear what has happened here. It's good news but not definitively good news as the flow test is due. Same thing happened when AAOG reported a successful drill. That's the first part. Second, Red deer is next. There is more uncertainty than certainty. Therefore, you look at both together - it cannot really rise. But if red deer comes in positive, that will be a huge boost not just cos it is red deer but also because next on the list is Gazelle which has a 75% COS. That will lift sentiment and clear the air, big time. One more week I guess !

Of course you sold yesterday. You probably sold at the peak during the afternoon and knew it was going to drop. Just like when the oil discovery will be announced you would say that you bought back in and made a ton of money

No not at all. Clearly you have not studied markets enough to know. When a share price drops 30%, there may be a reason why it has dropped depending on circumstances. But no one knows. You are going to have to list examples to explain what you mean. As proof, look at aaog- tanked on all three Wells prior to news and oil was found in all three . Jog never ranked before it released news yet there was no oil and that was a pretty popular well known reservoir. It just seemed that the most common explanation seems to be a leak. But guess what no one seems to be able to justify it . So wait for the impending rns and we will see but like pros has said I have a good feeling about this cos it has tanked. My rationale - the market MAY suspect there is something there but wants to shake off people who hold irrational

Absolutely no reason why red deer is a duster at this stage. We have to wait for the rns. I remember the same drop with Aaog when they were waiting on three wells. It dropped on each well but each well had oil until it then rose. So the drop means nothing. I would go with bonums possible reasons for a gradual decline over three days. It is essentially waiting time and nothing else.

This cannot be a leak. This has dropped continuously for over three days or so. If it were a leak, it would have been sudden and followed by news. I remember AAOG tanking on rumours of a placing and the RNS came within hours. sometimes there are rumours that impact but does not seem credible here given that it has been a few days of drops.

Maybe the market does not like the lack of news on Heron document signing? Maybe the market does not like the fact that news on both wells will most likely be together - back to back - uncertainty?
