RE: OMG POLE FOR STROLL16 Nov 2020 23:26
The new leadership at Aston are pushing to bring the Lagonda brand back and this will be the electric arm initially.
The rest of the lineup will go hybrid over the next few years until they are forces down the full electric route.
Still holding here, back around my break even after my early purchase at £9. Had to work hard also to get my average down but did keep the faith that we will come out the other side.
The Mercedes vote of confidence recently as well as the electric tech share is a huge deal and gives the added security that we have needed.
Valkyrie pushed back again until the middle of next year so we will not see the boost to the books that I had hoped.
I do think I saw a V12 DBX testing at Silverstone last week as well as possibly a V6 Vantage. Both will be exciting additions along with the facelift using the new Mercedes tech.
Still a 5-6 month wait for a DBX so I can only assume they are still selling at a decent level however maybe not the 2,000 plus units that had been declared in the past.
The most important thing is that the de stocking has gone well from what I have heard and people are now having to pay list on new orders.
Maintaining the profit margin and looking after the new and used customers is key during this transition period and I think this is being achieved.
Good luck all and don’t ever regret taking a profit.
