This has been a painful few weeks. Added feats of a new lockdown and second wave along with the large price drops for all the Aston products (surprised they included DBX)
The bright side is that Moers is behind these moves and has a long term sustainable plan for the future. I think this may be the first time in Aston’s history this is the case.
The next set of results will be an improvement but from a very low starting bar. Lots of positives regarding the Vantage roadster in the press.
Valkyrie money will soon bolster the balance sheet so I am still positive in the post Covid future for Aston.
Let’s hope Covid gets resolved for everyone and jobs can start being created again. Good luck all.

They have stated they want to generate cash by increasing the production of CERP assets and have scheduled some of that development prior to P1.

I would have to agree with the general sentiment around here. No good reason for this drop other than a little weakness in the FTSE.
AML has over reacted significantly to general market movements over the last 6 months. I cannot explain why but seems to be the case.
We will get a bounce back soon so a nice opportunity for the guys watching on the sidelines or wanting to increase a position. For the LTH like myself just another bump in the road to the promised land and WG I am still holding the golden ticket.
Just my opinion but I don’t see any fundamentals that are driving this % drop. Good luck everyone.

3300 that would be 80% of the current Ferrari Market Cap. If we are producing the same number of cars I would think that number would be around 50% so a little over £6 share price.

Another day at the runway this weekend. Aston will be in force again. I will try to take the DBX for a spin to see what it can hit.

I am happy to tell my strategy. I am holding until £1.50 then putting a stop loss at £1.40 for half of my shares and then sit back for a few years and see what happens.

Heads up display has never really taken hold. They have been doing it for 25 years and people are not bothered. Not a factor for sure.
Touchscreen is subjective also. In a sports car or performance vehicle which DBX would fit into touchscreens are terrible to use. I personally would prefer the controls which you can use based on the tactility once you know the car as trying to do things on a touchscreen while driving is as dangerous as texting. Should be banned really.

The Bentley certainly got some positive and negative when launched 5 years ago and have sold 20,000 units in the same market as the DBX.
With the consistently good reviews and the far better aesthetics of the DBX I see no reason why we would not exceed those numbers.
That effectively mean a full order book for the next 5 years production and hopefully maintaining a healthy margin throughout its life cycle.

Fortunately LK is still around and does not like standing still. The hope would be that he might put a hot poker where the sun don’t shine.
I know he not in charge in the current board structure however I do think he will be taking a lead role in developing the assets as well as helping with the funding organization and progress with the drill partner. Maybe a hint of a farm in if the right moves are made.
We do all just have to wait, I know this is old news for BPC and having lives in the Bahamas for 20 years I am well aware of the pace of progress and the dangers of the government putting a wrench in the works.

I agree they need to lay out the plan. From progressing CERP assets to an update on the plan for the drill and which way the financing of the drill will be dealt with.

Franc, most who are general day traders close all their holdings every day.
Generally the people on here are taking a portion and trading that in an attempt to lower averages. 20% of your holdings would be a decent number if you want to give it a try.
It seems like a guessing game to me and sometimes you guess correct which gives you confidence to do more and then end up paying more to buy back the shares.
I don’t doubt it can be done effectively but you will have to dedicate time to it or it will bite you.
