Deedo, The Fools change their mind more often than the wind changes direction In fact I think they look at the wind direction then decide which way to report. If they do indeed loose money next year then I would agree with the sentiment however I cannot see that happening (once again the caveat being Covid lockdown). They are keeping over ÂŁ300 mil on the back burner Incase it does. They will only sell cars if the Margin is right going forward. This may mean less cars and a smaller workforce but they will make money. H1 2021 will be profitable and this kind of article just adds more value to the share when the first Q profit is had. The scaremongering of Bankruptcy is the only thing keeping this share under ÂŁ1 and that will soon be shown as a falsehood. My opinion has not changed and a great turnaround is on its way over the next 12 months. Holders will be rewarded in my opinion and this price is still an absolute bargain.
I am very happy with the results and they are definitely not as bad as I feared. Really only positives from here going forward (short of another lockdown). All the press and driving reviews will be coming very shortly on the DBX And Gaydon will open along with the new boss. I am happy with the future and look forward to the flow of good news over the coming months.

Venture king, your statement “Production Lines are full in production on all models my View is you will have a record breaking number of cars sold this year TAKE NOTE AND MEMORISE”
This is not correct as the main Gaydon plant isn’t even open yet. Let’s gets facts please.
RE: AML....Moers..First New Model.....19 Jul 2020 00:06
Thx Noah, yes great day. Around 100 sports and super cars with a large majority being tuned. The fastest of the day was a Porsche running over 230mph had to throw a parachute at the end of the runway to be able to stop.
RE: AML....Moers..First New Model.....18 Jul 2020 18:47
Spent the day on a runway with lots of Super cars. Aston we’re sponsoring the event and had multiple cars and the DBX. They had a private event yesterday for customers and sold 6 DBX at the event. It was very well received today also. His 212mph down the runway. 3rd fastest for the day, still have a lot more power available but had a boost leak issue so couldn’t push any more.
Something will be coming out soon that will shed light on this rise. Gaydon will open soon but that is not likely to be it. It could be that the Q2 results have something that we would not expect or an announcement regarding increased DBX orders. Surprised nothing credible has been put out on here as normally we would get wind of what is going on. Pleased to see it and I still believe this is a share you want to be in over the next 12 months.
Jim at $10 profit a barrel I would take it over the huge amounts of income BPC proDuce. Over $1,500,000 a year, pays some bills so less dilution. This is assuming a further increase in oil price to $50.
The share will follow the FTSE without any news that is logical. I am hoping some driving reviews of the DBX will come shortly to help. The Gaydon factory will reopen also however we have the Q2 results looming over us and I doubt we will be able to grasp at anything positive from that. Unfortunately this is a sit back and wait for the new team and the plan to start to kick in. Still great upside later in the year.
RE: Over 2000 DBX orders according to Autocar...10 Jul 2020 00:32
I agree meteorix. I am very confident on the DBX over the next few years so now let’s concentrate on getting the profit margins up on the other still great cars. The DBS and the Vantage are great cars and when you see them in the flesh they are stunning in a way only Aston can pull off. I am sure the new strategy will achieve this and some facelift updates will probably be on the way once Mr AMG is on board. I would love to see a black series equivalent in the Vantage.
Bit of a stretch comparing Tesla but I understand your point. Once faith is restored by posting a profit the debt issue will become less of an issue and loan facilities will become more affordable. I see Q4 and into the first half of next year being the turnaround so don’t expect miracles in the next few months. Long term hold
RE: Over 2000 DBX orders according to Autocar...9 Jul 2020 23:40
Profit from Valkyrie alone will service the debt for the next 2 years so they just need to focus on making money on the core models which is the main focus

C2645, no definitive number on the profit margin however I am quite sure the price would have been set close to the 30% mark not 12%. I would love to know the real reason why people come on here trying to down play the company and it’s potential. Please tell us? I am positive because I hold shares and believe in the potential over the next 2 years. What is your story? Who hurt you? We may be able to help.
Bully if that is true, regarding being allowed to release whatever they want on RNS then I would agree more details would be welcome. Can anybody else confirm this? After operational costs $40 a barrel is barely profitable for many Small oil operations. This merger was put in place when oil was at $20 So an argument could be made that our valuation is low at the current price. I bought in for the BPC upside and was willing to take that gamble.
Sorry about the “what it comes down to” twice. One was referred to the benefit of BPC for CERP holders and the other was referring to the Merger as a whole for both sides.
