RE: So many conspiracy theories12 Jun 2020 19:34
It’s a tough place to be right now for many investors here. But let’s face it, we have high expectations. On the face of it, we are undervalued, massively. There’s still a seller out there depressing the price, but he’s got headroom as he’s already had a profit and still is in profit even at the SP as it is now.
Nevertheless, a dividend strategy, if DB wants to join the grown-ups table is the way to go. There are, naturally, a number of conditions to meet, and whilst I am happy to see a buy-back, I’d prefer a more sustainable modest dividend strategy that demonstrates a commitment to continued and sustained returns to shareholders for their support. I could care about the SP as I’m here because I believed there was a sustainable business model which would endure. I believe, that the management have failed to communicate their intentions, consistently, but that said, they have kept their powder dry, and we have not been completely at the will of the day traders and have sustained a steady SP. BUT....with POG at $1700 + the level of cash in bank must be considerable and a period of rewarding shareholders should be on the agenda.
Not least to protect ourselves from speculation.
