On this, I completely agree. a few hours or days makes no difference.
However, Rich is bang on the money too, and credibility matters when you've just made a private raise of 1.5m, promised a dilution by effectively 40% over the next two years, and not allowed any PI's into the inner circle.
I can cope with all the above, but if CM sets expectations, then he should meet them. Which I expect he will, even if it is an update to state delay.

Thank you for your contribution. I don't believe anyone is desperate for it, but are expecting it. It's just a discussion on said subject. It should be allowed to continue, but of course, if it is something you don't wish to hear, instructing them to chill out is not really your place, unless of course, you live in mainland China and that is your job.
It's pretty simple really, people air their views, they are seeking either coalescence with others or reassurance. I don't believe they are looking to be told how to behave, when they are in fact polite, positive and make a contribution of value.

I don’t know who you’re referring to in your last message. This is a discussion board, where discussion on various issues take place. It’s not a bullying board, but a Bulletin Board.
Not one mention of anything about money, cash, liquidity. It was pretty clear. If you don’t like to hear discussion that doesn’t involve your own views, then I suggest you filter. Of course, I don’t filter anyone, because I’m not stuck up my own backside enough to realise that other opinions offer a breadth of understanding and respect and provide opportunity for learning, something that, quite evidently, seems to be lacking in society as a whole, not just here.

But as I said, there’s a few hours to go. It just doesn’t taste nice when you get an end of week RNS, right at the end of the week. Hopefully, it will be promising and I’ll be shut right up; I’ve got big shoulders, so I can take a proving wrong

There's still a few hours to go. CM could be at risk of damaging his own reputation if he does not deliver an update today, given that he is happy to Twitter on endlessly, in between RNS's.
I'd expect an update, even if it is to explain there is delay in providing said update.

Rinse and repeat sells and buys.
I know it’s frustrating, but keep in mind that this sector is suffering massive pressures and we are seeing huge values wiped off oil cos daily. Uog not so. It’s holding and that bodes bl&&dy well for the long term future.
I’ve trimmed and bought back in occasionally myself. It’s not impatience, but fomo on other opportunities that are more time critical.
I’d wager that RKH would face an enormous fine and sanctioning by FCA on failure to issue timely TR-1. They’d even put their newest grad student on it to investigate, because it would be that easy.
No, it’s not RKH, not yet from the evidence, of which there is none. I’d be the first to cry fowl If a TR-1 appears and the trades don’t stack up from the previous 48 hours prior to notification, truly.

You're right on the O+G front. Looking at oil storage drops expected over the next two months, Oil will become very bullish, very quickly and will, of course, overshoot. With asset values for oil having been written down extensively, globally, a timely purchase could be a stroke of incredible luck and/or judgement.

You're probably right; and I know we all have senior moments forgetting that GR obtained its permit back in March as Covid was just kicking in. Even then, there was indications of a drilling and operational plan, so assuming much of this could be des based, then there could be a few updates over the coming weeks. As you say, though, tomorrow would be nice for an update on the O&G. Not sat here grumbling because there isn't one, just recognising that it would be a nice start to the end of the week.

Nothing missing from what you say. I see the sells recently as a reflection of others losing patience and see no progress, which befuddles me as we are in a closed period for news, so go figure?
I know GR is a well endowed asset and just as a flip could yield £20m, but it's not as if it's is going anywhere (as far as the market sees it, comparable to other 1m oz mines) and that is providing a headwind/drag on its perceived value.
Nonetheless, this is one share I buy and hold, no matter how much it tests my patience! ;-)

I hear what you say Trumpy, but we are only tinkering at Gold Ridge at the moment. BOD have indicated that the pillars are one area to access returns quickly, but a more extensive plan is going to be needed to unlock the full potential there, and they know it, hence I guess the UK oil and gas project....keeping the lights on for now.
I've been topping up gradually and have a nice healthy chunk, but it is languishing in my portfolio......I look forward to hearing some positive news on the Oil deal, which should bring it to life a bit, providing a more regular stream of newsflow too.....always helps

There’s a fair few holders with 1m + shares and I see that list growing, gradually. Wouldn’t surprise me to see a TR-1 in the next few days/weeks either, as I suspect a certain individual may see an opportunity here similar to that they’ve enjoyed before.
